Should Seibold be sacked immediately?

We've lost our culture, its the passion, pride and motivation to do anything for the club that we are missing.

We've still got the talent but you look at this team and most of the time I swear it looks like they don't even want to be out on the field.

All the emotion has been sucked out this club (and the team) and its shows on the field, it feels like the club has turned its back on everything that once made it great.

I don't think Seibold knows how to extract that effort to bring out the talent, you get the impression that coaching to him is just about numbers and stats, the preaching 'effort areas' and percentages but no real tapping into the emotional side that brings the energy and enthusiasm out in the players to want to go out there and perform each week playing the game they love.

We need White gone (he botched the Wayne Bennett sacking and now the Seibold 5 year contract bullcrap) and we need guys like Kevvie and Cozza back to lead us out of this, we need to relearn why going out onto the field in a Broncos jersey is an honor and not a chore.

Unlock the passion for this club and we'll unlock the talent in this team. We need a CEO who is a passionate 'Bronco' and we need a coach and staff who are passionate 'Bronco'. That passion will filter down into the players.

According to Webcke, he shouldn't be sacked; he should resign today.

He needs to go obviously because he just isn’t up to it, but he’s far from the only issue. Every single aspect of the club seems to failing. There’s nothing we do well or even adequately at.

And who takes over ?

An interim coach while a recruitment process takes place. I mean, we don't have to have a savour lined up immediately. We just need to start moving towards the future, because Seibold is not it.

The coaching staff we have at the moment feel like strangers, a bunch of unknowns, fark I don't even know half of them, the only familiar face is Alf.

It feels like the only time the club brings in a former 'Bronco' is when the media suggests it because we've been going shit.

Its no wonder we've lost everything that was built in the 80's and 90's. We shunned everything that got us to the top, including the coach. Sure Locky is there but his board appointment feels like a token gesture at best.

We need Kevvie!... and we need him to bring in and surround these young guys with passionate previous Broncos just like QLD do at origin time.

Get the players motivated and 'onboard', show them the reason why its great to be a Bronco (and not just a pay cheque) then worry about the friggen percentages and stats.

I honestly think he might pull the pin before the season is out possibly arranging a payout that won't break the Bronco's bank account. He looks a shattered man at the absolute end of his tether and I think he now realizes that he fucked up in leaving secure employment to a job where his every move is scrutinized.

He'll find employment elsewhere, he just may have to start again in the asst. coach ranks or as a development officer. I'm sure there is a good coach in there somewhere but his stats, techno pop and cereal box qualifications were never going to succeed in the Queensland capital. He won't see out the season and that's a good thing because his mental health and that of his family's is taking a severe beating.

I’m wondering if the reason the old boys are not there is due to the COVID restrictions

I'm keen for the club to move on now but sort of think we may need to wait until White's gone as well, we don't need White's input into the new coach. It may cost us Kevvie which is concern tho.

If Seibold goes now then I think White needs to also walk early.

Then find the right CEO and make sure he is on the same page as the new coach for next season. That gives the new coach 12 months to build towards 2022 when Bird and Milford are gone.

His best option when he gets the boot from here would probably be England. Less scrutiny.

Very well then how long should he get to prove his worth?
He should get all of 2021. Before you shoot me read on. He should be allowed to show he can recruit, as well as another preseason. This gives him a season of clean air without the Wu Flu halting everything, allows for certain parties to be off the books and away from the training field, and also give him a chance to prove he can roll with the rule changes as they are announced. When it is widely reported that some of your younger players are at the club doing extras shows that they are onside with what the club and coach are selling, if they weren't then you'd see no-one putting in. The difference in attitudes of the younger players coming in and making such a noticeable difference in the team shows that as we keep talking about there is a cancer and it is well entrenched and aged. Now if Siebold has been given orders about cap space = playing time from the board then he needs the end of this board which will start to fragment at the end of the year, if not taking away his toys might force the change to the young brigade that we all can see is the slow painful way forward. Also a full 2021 will divorce the team from the Fifita debacle, Issako's father passing, and all the other misfortunes that have occurred this year, and it gives him time to get our best 17 on the field as a unit once we wipe the season for surgeries and other rehab based events.

Nah he’s clearly lost the group, he has no currency in the player market. No one decent will want to go to Brisbane, he has negative pulling power for players. Players are not going to sign for under their worth to go to that joint what it is so clearly directionless.

**** that, no way should anyone be given a do over for the remainder of this year as well as all of next year for performing the worse in that positions history.
Injuries can excuse a lot but not the magnitude and ineptitude of our performances. An “improved effortthat still has us losing by 38 points is disgusting.

Nothing personal against Seibs, he actually seems a decent guy, but time to admit he is a mistake as head coach of the Broncos.

We need a hard edge introduced to the club, not Seib’s arty farty philosophies. He’s just the wrong coach at the wrong time.
