Not sure why Deardin is getting all the blame for that dropout fail.
Joe O had to catch it 8nstead if batting it back and putting it on someone else.
Still, at least we looked ok in attack .
Still look like strangers in defence.
Haas is just shitting me ATM .
Sure he makes big meters but he has no physical presence, especially in defence.
The sharks scored from a set play I am sure they worked especially for him when they passed down the short side and switched back to a lazy Haas who didn't get off his line.
Yip it's becoming a set play for most opposition teams now.

I’m loving it! They just smashed the team that was running third basically. They are well and truly the favourites, get on board lads!
Given the final will be played in either Brisbane or Perth it's a good time to jump on the bandwagon and hopefully get to attend a final in a home city.

Its hard to be too critical of Haas, but for a bloke his side he does lack physicality.

He played against his mirror image tonight. Reminds me a lot of a young Aaron Woods. Makes a LOT of runs and metres, can occasionally bust the line and score a try, but when it comes down to it, you know he's a pillow with eyes.

Time to spell Haas. No!! Not because he's bad. I'd start Kennedy and Offa with the simplest of instructions. Hard, straight until I decide you've had enough. Then Flegs and Haas for the last 60. Their opening 20 minutes is largely where they use up their best energies and the reggies just aren't useful in the present setup. Haas can do it and even if Flegs can't stay with him then the better of the two starters gets another spell.

How is it possible? I say this with my hand over my heart, 90% of the people on the forum would do better.

This is not an exaggeration.
He's known to rely overly on stats and have difficulty going away from his preplanned rotations. All of the guff the club pushed about him in 2018 was sure to harp on about his radical new methods and love of statistics. Unfortunately there's little hope of any improvement because:
He thinks he is some ground breaking, innovative new age coach when in reality, he is a clueless fool.
It's hard to learn when you think you're smarter than everyone else.

It’s because he is playing too many minutes and trying to conserve energy to last the 80. Again, it’s ridiculous coaching to leave him out there for way too long for his age.

We really need to remember that Haas has only played 35 NRL games.

He's still learning, he's still maturing. Give him time.

I'm not sure that equates to a lack of physicality. I can remember JFH coming into the panthers side with plenty of aggression. He wouldnt be the only one.

We had this discussion last year if you remember I was critical of his lack of shoulder and drive, Unfortunately it’s now very much on the opposing team’s radar. It doesn’t help he plays too many minutes though.

I dont think that helps him at all. I just dont think anyone has got hold of him and tried to teach him how to do it. Probably because we lack a tough, experience forward for him to learn from.

How? Sydney teams aren't allowed in Qld or wA
