Board will see it as a win/win, they keep him and make an example of him but that is a hell of a punishment I wonder if he will agree to that
If his rumoured salary is 650k, that's essentially a 110k fine, plus weight/performance KPIs thrown in, having to work in what I'm guessing is going to be community service type stuff and have monthly behaviour reports. It's a huge penalty for a player, it's about the harshest player punishment I've seen IMO outside of just sacking a player.

I'm glad he's not going and I have to commend the board (just this once) for stipulating such harsh conditions for the terms of his on-going involvement with the club. This will not only send a strong message to TPJ, it will provide ample warning for any other half-wit with ideas of playing up.

Sitting him down effective immediately does not help us avoid the spoon, but it does provide another run on spot for youngsters like Bullemor and Riki to take advantage of. The more game time they get now means they'll be more aware of what is expected in 2021.

Finally, Locky has already said that he had begun mentoring him, so if he can really get inside his head he could produce the club an exciting attacking weapon that might even be captain material. What a redemption story that would make.

360 will still come up with a narrative that the club totally bottled it.

Seems like a massive punishment... fine equivalent to 25% of his salary, likely undertaking a working class job for the next 3 months, no media or social media for 12 months and a short as **** leash for the next 12 months.

I wonder if all of that was discussed with him during the meeting or if TPJ actually offered up some of those clauses, like working a job, no social media, etc.

You would imagine they would've come to some agreement during the meeting otherwise he'd be sacked on the spot

**** Lockyer being his mentor... too reserved and was already mentoring the leadership group before this happened..

Get Petero in their as the mentor!!

Why didn’t Lockyer mentor Milford... should have been part of Milford’s and lockyers contract

Did I read correctly that he is not aloud to use social media? Asking a kid in their early 20's to not use social media is like asking a person not to breathe. He has no chance.

Didnt he already take himself off social media. I seem to remember a story how was over it, didnt need it as a distraction etc.
