Where does Drinkwater play?

Has he? Even at his best I was never overly confident his game would carry over to Origin.

Yeah I tend to agree. Origin has rarely ever suited those sorts of players. The NSW side is never going to be weak enough to make someone like Milford look good at that level.

Cody Walker is a good recent example of what happens to these kind of players at Origin level. Even the most recent Queensland team wasn't weak enough to make him look like a gun at Origin level.

Where does Drinkwater play?

I suspect you'll find Morgan isn't coming back. He just had another major injury setback on the same day all the Widdop news stirred up.

I think if he plays again it'll be a surprise.

Thats a bloody good point.

Its hard work adjusting to massive climate differences.
I went from living in the New England to Byron Bay when i was a young bloke, and the first 6 months nearly killed me.
Training under the hot sun up there is for sure going to take a toll on the bloke.

So I've now read that they could release Clifford early if they sign Widdop? Doesn't make sense.. They still have Drinkwater there.

Drinkwater still doesn't fit in there if Widdop is signed. Is Drinkwater on the outer or just seen as depth? Or is Holmes shifting to the wing with Drinkwater at fullback?

Well he's a center that cant defend... if some idiot club is willing to pay him $600k good luck to him.

Offer him his value $400k-$500k if he doesn't like it then see ya later and enjoy Shitney.

Priorities are elsewhere at this stage and we have Coates, Niu (considered by some to be a center) and also Isaako who played right center in qcup.

He's very young.. His game will develop and I think he'll eventually become one of the best defensive centres in the game. He's a top tier centre, no doubt. In a couple years time he will be unstoppable. I don't think a club would be idiotic to sign him at all. A club like Eels would view him as the perfect replacement for Michael Jennings.

If we want to keep Staggs then all we have to do is see where we are over paying players. I would gladly release Milford and sign a replacement 6 for half the price and use the spare cash to upgrade Staggs and keep him at the club. It's not that difficult.
