I wonder how far Cobbo is off first grade. 100kg, 190cm and the fastest bronco over 40m. Could easily replace Coates you would think. Probably provide better early set hit ups than Coates too.

Aside from being seen doing good things he appears to understand what needs to happen going forward and that seems to me to have been highlighted by his references to his last three chances. He's wise enough now to appreciate what is probably a final chance .

I think if he performs well over the rest of the year then Kevvie will look to utilise him somewhere in the squad.

I'm not sure he has the attacking spark to be a fulltime half, but his ball skills and enthusiasm in the second row or lock could be very valuable.

If he goes well this year then Kevvie could work towards putting a bit of weight on him over the next off season and utilise him as a utility off the bench.

Kevvie brought Asiata here with a plan to use him as the ball playing middle forward off the bench, but I think the neck injury is turning him off using him... if Gamble puts on some weight he could become that player.

I know @Wolfie considers him a 6 through and through, but for his NRL longevity do you think he could make it as a ball playing middle off the bench if he put some weight on (probably needs to be 5kg as minimum)?

Does his defence and general physicality lend itself to a guy that could play in the middle?

If Reynolds comes, I’d actually like to see Milford stay... with a pay cut of course.

Milford could be someone that would do a 1 year deal at a significant discount. I don’t think he particularly wants to move, and has already made a fortune. I’d be happy with $400k for Milford if we sign Reynolds. Sure, give Staggs first crack at 6 but if he shits the bed Milford can go back in at 6. If not, he at least keeps some pressure on Isaako and Staggs to perform

He could fill in but needs another preseason and this year in Cup. I don't know if he's that fast, has been run down in cup a few times. He'll be as big as Coates but has a fend.

Good news, I've been just as excited about his form as I have been of Cobbo's.

In every game I've seen him play he's come up with one big run where he completely fools his opposite with good foot-work and then puts his outside man into space. He was desperately unlucky not to set up a try in the Broncos trial as Arthars came up with a really good try-saver on the winger.

Hopefully Piakura lives up to the billing because so far Robati has had the better season.

Broncos have also re-signed TC Robati for 3 seasons, with him likely to be promoted to the top 30 for 2022.

19 year old Kiwi 2nd rower playing Intrust Super Cup for Wynnum Manly. Numbers are solid for his age. Running for 100 metres per game, throwing a couple of offloads per game and has racked up 3 line-break assists in 4 appearances.

Been better than Piakura. Really thriving in ISC. Along with Hetherington Brisbane’s best.

Yeah I loved what I saw from Isaako last week but if I’m being serious he needs to do that more consistently to stay at fullback. He has a wing spot available for him and personally I would like nicho Hynes at fullback
