How do you expect a gassed player to tackle when he will be in 5 minds on how to do it given how much rules your piling on to the tackle?

A total of 25 weeks worth of bans from one round of footy. Absolutely ridiculous.

There will be some big names missing out on Origin because of it, and some clubs will be basically written off for the season as a result.

Also no mention of attackers having a responsibility and a duty of care to ensure they don't cause a dangerous situation in a tackle either.

This whole crackdown was supposed to be in response to concussions and head shots, yet the bloke with the longest ban is done for a "hip drop" tackle and got more weeks than Papallii's decapitator tackle.
