Who is Andrew Webster? Finally someone in the media calling out the board. Good to see.

How does kev’s mid season mark compare to holbrooks?

Andrew Webster is the guy from the SMH saying today on Nine that he knew Kev would fail ... but, funnily enough, I can't find him writing that about Kev anywhere. Whereas he campaigned against Griffin getting the St George job big time. Until now, the media have protected Kev ... welcome to the big time, it's on for young and old now. I don't think he'll be wanting to keep trotting out the "We have improved" line too much more or he'll be asked for details and dig himself an ever deeper hole.

Good point.

We let go of some high paid players and signed no one of note.

Meanwhile, Meninga has been handing out huge contracts as often as wristies behind the toilet block and they’re still getting spanked. Indeed, they are arguably worse than last year.

Imagine the scrutiny we’d be under if we’d gone on their spending spree.

In the triplem interview Kevvie seemed to think it was a good thing we have used more players then any other club, he also said we had used 32 players which is wrong, we have used 33. Im guessing by next rd we will have used 34 at least, if not 35.

Yeah but how about we give the context that he gave. He said he gave everyone an opportunity, none can say they never got a chance. Simple really, everyone was put on notice at the start of the year and these blokes didn't take it seriously, probably thought we have heard this before. We lost Welsh because he didn't want to wait for his shot, no doubt he would of got it and Isaako would of been moved earlier. The Broncos have a huge problem with entitlement and attitude, this is self evident on the field and in how they act when they are sat out, they go back to ISC and don't even stand out there. Selfish, stupid and arrogant.

The number of halfs combinations is also just trotted out as a number. But some have been forced since Gamble has been suspended and Kelly injured for some, also Croft. The other blokes diabolical and totally undeserving of keeping their spots. I have no doubt Khunt wouldn't have been used if Croft, Kelly and even Milf were available to be used, all injured now for weeks. Nothing happens in isolation.

I actually don't care that Kev has used the amount he has, I am glad. In 2019 we all said over and over why hasn't so and so been dropped. A review was done and nothing happened, Boyd lost his captaincy and they got moved to centre and 5/8, wow. We then complained all last year about nobody being held to account, most of the changes forced by injury.

Well now the changes are being made and I am with the coach, I am done with these players. None of them love the jersey, they love the image that it gives them. They can walk around Brisbane acting all cocky and getting tail but can't put in for the jersey on the field, bunch of pretenders can take a walk. Won't miss them and the possible two spoons you gave the club.

Ask the guy who runs the BHQ Player of the Round spreadsheet. He's used 33 players.

Spot on, infact I remember every single one of them playing this year.

So it was Kevvies decision to get rid of Nolan and Croll?

From the sounds of it, but it took DD coming in for anyone to listen. Imagine being Kev and wanting to get going early in the year but everyone above him totally unwilling to do anything. The level of frustration would have been gut wrenching, DD walking in and taking action would be giving Kev hope.

So Kevvie has been doing damage control all day about what a great man manager he is. Did anyone hear him mention his players Asiata, Cobbo and Arthars condition after their respective head injuries?

Not a peep from the club about any of them. Especially troubling given the way John Asiata was stretchered off.

Saw his interview on 9.

Said the decline started after the 2015 GF. Benny won't be happy.
