It did all start to decline after 2015. Hodges retired, Ben hunt was broken, Milford got paid, Blair left. progressively we saw the decline of boyd and Thaiday. Followed by the retirements of Parker and gillet.

I’ve said it before, but it started when we lost Hunt and decided to replace him with a centre on 900k a year. From that point the money kept moving away from the spine.

Yeah but how about we give the context that he gave. He said he gave everyone an opportunity, none can say they never got a chance. Simple really, everyone was put on notice at the start of the year and these blokes didn't take it seriously, probably thought we have heard this before. We lost Welsh because he didn't want to wait for his shot, no doubt he would of got it and Isaako would of been moved earlier. The Broncos have a huge problem with entitlement and attitude, this is self evident on the field and in how they act when they are sat out, they go back to ISC and don't even stand out there. Selfish, stupid and arrogant.

The number of halfs combinations is also just trotted out as a number. But some have been forced since Gamble has been suspended and Kelly injured for some, also Croft. The other blokes diabolical and totally undeserving of keeping their spots. I have no doubt Khunt wouldn't have been used if Croft, Kelly and even Milf were available to be used,all injured now for weeks. Nothing happens in isolation.

I actually don't care that Kev has used the amount he has, I am glad. In 2019 we all said over and over why hasn't so and so been dropped. A review was done and nothing happened, Boyd lost his captaincy and they got moved to centre and 5/8, wow. We then complained all last year about nobody being held to account, most of the changes forced by injury.

Well now the changes are being made and I am with the coach, I am done with these players. None of them love the jersey, they love the image that it gives them. They can walk around Brisbane acting all cocky and getting tail but can't put in for the jersey on the field, bunch of pretenders can take a walk. Won't miss them and the possible two spoons you gave the club.

Yeah except we won our last game of the year in 2018 and still finished 2pts off the pace, but I guess if we won another game at some point that year by 130 points then yeah we were only 1 win off being minor premiers

I mean we beat teams 1, 3, 4 & 5 all times that we played them that year. We weren’t declining against quality opposition, we just were lax when it came to lower placed teams which cost us.

That is one of the first signs of a decline in attitude, complacency is a cancer that needs stamping out. We did nothing to fix it then. Kev is right.

It certainly hints at arrogance and inexperience but that would have been easily fixed in time with the right coaching. The decline in playing ability is what stands out most to me.

Yeah one leaches into another. What Pies did accelerated it for sure and made turning it around quickly impossible. I think standards dropped and excuses became the norm and a culture of individualism has set in. Its like none of these guys want to show up for each other and are not concerned what their teammates think of their performances. I bet training is a real drag.

I have an idea to improve training, loud music and training at 115% of game speed
