OFFICIAL Gamble re-signs

Can i be honest...ive no idea why Jordans coming here....

Someone pointed out that we haven’t officially signed Pereira. Assuming we do sign him, does that mean Oates is leaving?
As far as I know we have signed him. It's even on his Wiki. No idea why there's been no official announcement unless someone went cold. He and Brenko will go well in the ISC.

Everyone seems to be forgetting Jamayne has another year on his contract.

Why do people prefer what they’ve seen from gamble to what we’ve seen from Jelly?
Do you mean Kelly? Haha

I also like the prospect of him partnering Reynolds in the halves next year. Could play a very similar role to Cody Walker.

Depends how everything plays out roster wise and in the off season / pre season. Not sure if Kelly will even be signed next year.

Jamayne is good enough to get his whole contract taken off our hands if that’s what we want. I think that will happen.

No ones forgetting. We just hope more dud players are being pushed out early.

Because of how he lifts the team. We saw the players finally give a **** about their half being pushed around in their debut, something that's been missing from them for years. He's all energy and effort and it is exactly what this team needs.

I, for one, would have him in the number 14 for next year

What if next year, we...put Paix at 9 and Gamble at 14?
I can get behind that.

gamble is just a more enthusiastic Turpin in levels of ability IMO

Either as a loose forward, back up 9 or injury cover.
I like the idea of him starting at 9 for 15-20 minutes and tell him to go flat out, give him a break, then bring him on in the second halves somewhere in forwards.

Essentially the role Bellamy has cooked up for B.Smith. Gamble isn't as good but he has that energy to start the team off well and the other point is Turpin might be a better player at 60 minutes a game.

Goat, not sure it's either or. I think it's more a pinch of this, a dash of that. Both offer great qualities. Kelly can have super sweet timing, Gamble can offer ferocious competitiveness. What a combination hey? When do we get someone like that?!!

If my mind serves me here, i believe Staggs gets about a average of 15 touches a game in the centres.

In those 15 touches, he is a strike weapon, and clearly our best attacking option.

What if we give him 30 touches a game?

Being in the 6 he will get that. Let him float around the field looking for early ball and the chance to run at a retreating defence or lazy markers.

Which means we need another ball playing option to take pressure away from Reynolds and Turpin.

Enter Gamble.

This guys a baller, old fashioned heads up footy player who plays what is in front of him.

Give him the 13, let him take the ball around the middle and help steer our forwards around.

Then Staggs can pick and choose when and where to get involved.

**** YEH..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do think the one thing we have to remember with Staggs in the 6 is he will have more traffic and more big bodies running at him, especially if we arent a dominant side. I still have my doubts he will make a good 6, i dont think he will get the kind of room he gets in the centers to be as damaging a ball runner.

Nobody is taking the whole of any one of our players contracts. Every man and his dog knows we are in a mess, we have nothing to bargain with.

Staggs at 6 is more of a luxury once you have a strong 1, 7 and 9.

So far we have only signed a 7.

It’s the sort of thing Bellamy could pull off at the Storm.. But can Kev and the Broncos make it work? Or will Kev change his mind after two rounds and play Gamble at 6?
