Really liked as well how Cobbo went looking for the ball. I think It was mentioned on Fox about it, he knew he wouldnt get the same kind of service without Arey so he went looking to get involved. Really think its something Kotoni should be doing as well as it would add a new dimension to his game.

Takes more than five out of five wins to satisfy Te Maire. He's hard on himself, which isn't the worse sign:

He seems like a cool head .
Quiet achiever type . I saw him give Ezra a pat on the back straight after Frizzel scored . Looked up saw Ezra commiserated him . Probably would have helped his mindset .

Whats everyone’s thought on last night specificaly about how strong we were second half through the guts? Forget first half as was apalling however we came out and did it without renolds. If we can adopt that strength + add Ryan james 100% so we are gutsy through the middle and so Renolds can rest up and focus on predictability with 5th tackle kicking game (was less eastwhen playing for storm) then when he is back we can be easy in the top teams or higher no worries. Problem with last night was haas and not caring about the game so much anymore is my feeling. Not cool.
What are some things that could be improved? Taking in that ALOT of players and officials do come in here and read for a lot of advice. Not many know this.

cheers

These clowns on fox are seriously STILL talking about the "ridiculous" knock on call against Gagai last night during another game.

IT WAS THE RIGHT CALL!

It happened against us earlier this year and nobody gave 2 shits...

We won by 24 ffs and the call was CORRECT!

We have the NSWRL rattled I tell ya

Yeah exactly.. it's happened to Staggs about 3 times this year already... one of them was the Reyno tunnel ball pass.

It's happened so many times this year and the rule has been around for like 3yrs now already

@Super Freak

Thoughts on the lead up to the Riki try?

Were Brisbane entitled to a 7 tackle set? It appeared to come backwards off of Young and I didn't see a touch from Milford or Gagai when Mam spilled the ball.

You would have to think Milford knocked it out when tackling Mam because if he doesn't then surely it was a knock-on by Mam.

With the benefit of watching it frame-by-frame, it looks like when Milford is trying to tackle Mam his hand comes under the ball and he knocks it free and I think that's what Gee thought, as well.

I thought it was a knock on by Mam and I was waiting for the call. It was very messy and I think it was very much a 50/50 call.

I'll put my hand up as one of the people bagging Mam at half time. He was ordinary, but I should really have cut him some slack being on debut. He seemed to find his feet in the second half and I really think he contributed well. There's a footy player in there, but I still think he's behind Gamble in the pecking order when Reynolds come back.

**** that refereeing 'howlers'. At first look I wasn't convinced by the Gagai no try but I was wrong.
The obstruction I think we were lucky to get away with. At the end of the day though, the record books will show that we won 36-12. Give it a few weeks and nobody will remember the 'controversy' as it didn't cost a grand final win to anybody.

Our team is maturing as a whole and we've shown a couple of times now that we can win without Reynolds against decent opposition as well.

And the knights fans need to accept this. No one gave a **** when it was happening to us back then

Knights fans also need to accept they are fast becoming the 2020 Broncos

- Won first 2 games of the season where they got the jump on their opponents before teams started to find their groove
- Massive losing run follows where they may they may pinch a couple more wins max for the season
- No resilience
- Blaming refereeing decisions despite being flogged
- Overrated overpaid million dollar plus spine player expected to do everything on their own (Ponga)
- Milford
- Head coach that was an assistant to Bellamy who currently whose philosophy isn’t being bought into by his playing group. Probably will get sacked before seasons end ala Seibold
- Getting flogged frequently at home
- Halfback who was a reject at their former club

Have I missed anything?!?

I actually do wonder how O’Brien is still there. There’s been a few post games and including last night where he has seemingly admitted he doesn’t have answers. It’s a weird look and yet he keeps on keeping on.
