The thing that makes the least sense about it is Turpin is not a bench hooker, you either start him or you don't pick him and Billy is just better then him in that role, not only that but we have already told him we don't want him next year.

I don't think TMM signing elsewhere should matter in that regard because the logic on Turpin who we have basically told to leave makes no sense, not only that Everything I have seen and heard about Martin, he is as professional as it comes.

All of Walters selections seem to be to prime the entire squad for the finals, for the just in case injuries or suspensions. But ffs we COULD be in the running for a top 4 spot. If you don't make the top 4 you can kiss any pipe dreams of a premiership goodbye. Not saying we're a chance of one this year but the club should be at least trying to out ourselves in a position to battle for it. 7th and 8th are just making up the numbers in the finals regardless of their form..

I am just going to revert back to my old conspiracy theory and say we go out early in the finals (if we make them) paving the way for the Dolphins to come in and have a fan base, then make 2023 our year. Although, I really thought Reynolds swan song GF win 2024 was the script.

Mariner is the future it seems . Cobbo played a cpl of good games at right centre at the end of last season too . Add Herbert to the mix and there`s gonna be some dog fights for backline spots in the off season .

We haven't made it past Week 1 of the finals since 2017, when we lost to the Storm (30-0) in Week 3.
