PLAYER Deine Mariner

mariner has pretty good leg drive wasnt to often he was put on his back

We dare to wonder whether he's already in his best position?

Passing off the ground is not a pre requisite for centre play if that is what you are insinuating .
The fck ups the other week when him and his team mates couldn`t put each other in the clear when they hit the back field was more of an indictment .

He's not passing off the ground. This isn't union.

I'm not reading too much into this but have you noticed Selwyn's wayward passing from dummy half?

'Sorry, Selwyn, I know you are an athletic freak who single-handedly wins us games, but the one or two times you've needed to pass from dummy-half you've been a little less than crisp, so we're going to have to let you go.'

Is there a current Bronco - other than Tyson Smoothy - you don't find fault with?

Huh ? Then you turn around and say he`s not passing off the ground ?
He's standing when he passes. Let's move beyond this. Please. Let's not get fixated on it. I'm merely asking whether any has noticed Selwyn's passing game might be better suited to the wing than centre?

Also: not I'm not accusing Selwyn of not being able to pass. I'm ASKING.

Kinda the reason why hookers are built low to the ground .
Kobe Hetherington was a hooker as a youngster like his old man . But once he got taller he started having back pain from stooping low repeatedly .

I`m pretty sure Selwyn is practicing passing a few days a week at Red Hill with coach Briers .
Some of us thought Herbert lacked passing skills too . Till he proved us to be poor judges .
Passing on the run or offloading is different to snapping it to the #7 from dummy half on the 5th .

A Centre's passing ability comes after their running, work rate and ability to break tackles for me, afterall if passing is such an important trait they are wasted in a position they can only do a 1 out with.

Your getting confused with the quality of pass over what should be the instinct to pass in certain situations.

Ofcourse I haven't heard you talk about how many offloads Herbie has given this year that had lead to line breaks and tries and often on the back of a tough carry in the middle.

Last week I saw Herbie pass to Deine, and Deine got tackled without scoring a try, which confused me because I was led to believe that if Herbie passed to his winger they'd score eleven times out of ten.

I'm not criticising or saying your preference to post clickbait "opinion" is bordering on gutter level. I'm ASKING.

I don't think you understand the usage of that term.
