I'd love for us to start using that move that Lote, Lockyer and Smith did.
With Walsh's acceleration it could tear teams apart on kick returns and teams might stop kicking it to Reece so much which protects him a bit.

I mean Madge has been very lucky with injuries too, this is basically the same as '23 this year, so there is little excuse.
Sure we haven't got Mam, but we also Have Hunt, we have things to work out once he becomes available, but at this stage I'm definitely starting to miss Mam, and hoping he is the reason Walsh isn't able to get edge plays to work atm.

Smoothy should have been available though, considering we have Billy who can play most positions he should've came on regardless.

This guy left us with:
- no backup fullback
- no starting quality second row and zero back up
- 1 starting quality centre in Staggs
- signed shit like Baker, Goz, and JHuny
- 4 hookers in top 30
- didn’t find a halfback heir
- pushed out all the good support staff and left us with Barrett and Teo
- Built a team around tolerating errors and attacking from anywhere on the field

Outside the 3 signings the rest doesn't matter, that was a top 4 team, the staff wasn't Kevvie either.
Sacking him for Madge was a **** up, simple as that.
We are worse than last year and we don't have the huge injury list of that season to use as an excuse because we look shit even with full strength.

The team was full of injuries, this team hasn't got that excuse, there is no way you could convince me that team doesn't make the 8 with the same injury rate as this year.
Not only that Kev had runs on the board from the year before, Madge has been on a decline in basically every club role he has done since he last won a premiership over a decade ago.
Don't understand why we rushed to sack kev for someone who wasn't exactly someone that says this team will improve under me but a big maybe at best.

Yeah kinda getting sick of the "no injuries" bs this year. Not using it as an excuse, but we are not full strength. Is it as dire as last year? No. But still doesn't mean you can make up false narratives.

Look how we played when we had our players though, Staggs and Walsh especially have gone to shit this year.
Walsh hasn't once even played like he did prior to Madge, we are not even missing anything with it, we actually missed those players last year because they could do something, now it's all shit.
