CROSS FORUM NRL Round 1 - Las Vegas

Wasn't a lot wrong with it. Stood up and played it backwards with his foot.

It's the falling over afterwards... they claim that he wasn't in control or something before playing it... they've got Walsh a couple times with it.

They also pick and choose on when they call that an error as well... but the ones that look like full on milks like Horse end up getting called

Two for
Horse hasn't played much since the changes at the ptb... doesn't realise you can't try to milk a penalty and quick ptb at the same time anymore

Well at least this week.

Ref has put the whistle away in this game as well.. apparently they think the US fans will want to see grinding slugfests instead of penalising teams for slowing the ruck down

Charnze initiated contact with his foot then... this should be reversed

The NRL now need to be consistent with that call though... otherwise kick chasers will just end up down there crowding the kicker and claiming the catcher initiated contact... can definitely see kick chasers taking dives looking for penalties

This game is definitely an upgrade in intensity compared to the ESL game.. so much faster

The quality of this game is terrible.
Handling has been pretty shit, but the general speed once they get going... when they're allowed to ptb... they've looked quick

Yeah definitely looks quicker but man, just hold the freaking ball.

That Canberra left edge looks dangerous.

Kris got greedy there... they had six more and all he had to do was dive on it, but he tried to pick it up and go for the try

I know the Raiders pack is strong but they look pretty dominant over a much vaunted Warriors pack right now. They are really missing AFB's go forward and I'd say Harris' ball playing as well. They are two massive outs.

He is looking a real handful though. If he has something of a breakout season, I could see him being in the Qld side.

RTS is a shadow of the player he was before yawnion.

Was always going to be interesting to see how JFH would go having to take on more of the yardage game.

Tohu is a huge loss, but can see Dylan Walker playing a bigger role this year... they'll look different when he gets on the field and is scheming around the middle... should be on soon and then will see if he can play out the game last 50mins or so
