POST GAME [Round 5, 2025] Broncos vs Tigers

I think it was precautionary, earlier in the game I thought he had a issue with it and continued on.
No ice and on the bike when he came off is probably a good sign.
He probably felt after his try we had the momentum and could do it without him.
Just a practice run for the future if he goes down, Paix 80 mins and Billy reps at 6.

thats the impression Adam gave just then on the sideline.

Having watched a few games this week I’m just confused about the game.

Phantom high tackle penalties, inconsistent sin binning, diving is rampant and the refs don’t know which rules to enforce game to game.

Strange game but bank the win. Defence will be the focus for training this week

I really think our pack worked better with patty at lock & Jensen starting. We’ve weakened the back row to slightly strengthen the front row. I like Kobe, he works hard, but maybe he just doesn’t fit into this side.
Nah kobe is a gun, needs to be included in the squad shows too much improvement year by year

Take the points and run. That game was awful. We have significant issues but are still blowing teams away - that's really confusing.
We aren't playing our best ATM but last year this is a game we would of lost.
Few years back we were getting blown away by teams in 20 minute periods and now we're doing this to teams.

Hmmm do you risk him next week or run Billy in the halves and bring Mozer in. See how he pulls up I suppose.

They are just desperately trying to make the game look safer despite having no desire to do so, with all the cte stuff coming out in recent years

Decent win but so much too improve.
Our D just doesn't control ruck speed. We need 3 in a tackle far more than we currently do.
Paix was terrific playing 80 and Cobbo had a really solid game. He's doing his job really well taking the hard runs from our end copping plenty of contact and not making many errors..
Gos hit the crash line with a bit of intent tonight so that was an improvement.
Hetherington was solid and X was really good apart from that missed tackle.
Plenty to work on but scary if we get it right.

One of the few times I disagree with you. Moving Patty back won't fix the edges, we just haven't had consistent quality there for a couple of years

I agree, noticed him hopping on one leg after the third tigers try too

Is anyone else seeing a ‘Bear walks into a hospital’ advert ??
