You never get fact checked, you don't need to actually work like a reporter and you can be doing whatever you want online all day and just do five minutes entering a prompt into ChatGPT and get paid for whatever it spits out.

If you want to start out in journalism, it's helpful to differentiate between reporting (news), opinion (editorial, columnists) and analysis, rather than to lump them all in as "journalism."
