Shame this effort came a week too late.

Hopefully a good tune up for next week.

There needs to be an investigation into that refereeing. How a team can be beaten by 50 and win the penalty count COMFORTABLY is beyond me.

Xman a HUGE loss though in every sense of the word sadly.
LOL, I thought we did pretty well out of the rub of the green. Bank errors in our favour gifted us at least two tries.

How much do you need them to rig the games for us?

On the Dogs forum, they are still going on about Mam.

Each time he scores a try or sets one up, it's he should be in prison etc

I posted last night, how good is he, he can get cheered & booed & still have a blinder. Post disappeared overnight.

I thought the whole refereeing performance was a joke. Was it all one-sided? Probably not but come on, I'm not watching a Broncos game to care if the other side is benefitting or not, I just want us to benefit from the all round incompetence.

We definitely had a few forward passes let go which we benefitted from for sure.

At the same time, the ref got in the way of one of our tries and watch the game again and have a look specifically at Tass. The guy does conservatively 5 blatant professional fouls and doesn't even give away a penalty.

Also, an interesting comparison in the last two weeks between us and the Storm. We both played the Eels, they won despite a very clear knock on one or two tackles before the game winning try. The touch judge was like 50cm away. We (rightly) lost because Walsh was adjudicated offside. If. like Tedesco, that's let go, we are in the top four.

This is how much refereeing influences games at key moments.

Here's how the Bulldogs (AFL) dealt with a player who was PISSED AS A FART (Ezra was stone cold sober with only the lowest level of drugs detectable from nights previous, as in nothing), who crashed BECAUSE he was SHITFACED (we don't know why Ezra crashed except it was NOT to due to intoxication). And in all cases, the crash was irrelevant to the charges, merely drew attention.

"He was fined $5,000 by the club for drink driving, which also imposed suspended fines totalling $15,000 for other breaches. Hunter will also serve a four-match ban when the AFL season resumes."
In the same piece, another AFL player:
"Meanwhile, Adelaide Crows forward Tyson Stengle was also suspended for four games for a drink-driving offence. Stengle was reported for a "drink-driving offence" after he was stopped by police in Adelaide's south-western suburbs on April 9, an Adelaide Crows club statement said. He was found to have a blood alcohol reading of 0.123 and the club also said Stengle was driving an unregistered car."
Anyone still going on about Ezra is a prize ****wit.

If someone could get a screenshot of the souffs defensive line when the ball was played for the non professional foul. I’d love to see it. I was sure they had like 3 players covering half the field.

Not a fan of Gray? I actually wonder whether Souths and Mitchell might be better served with him playing centre moving forward.

I think Gray #1 .
Graham #3
Trel #4 with permission to roam .

Graham was close to the best centre in the comp a cpl of seasons back before injuries .
Trel has only played like 60% of games since he came to Souths . I reckon less running at centre could be the remedy .

Thought Cobbo was mostly good. Came looking for the ball and provided some good hit ups.
Looks trim so good to see he went back and worked hard.

On the left where he should be .
That fend is his best weapon . Gets stiffled on the right .

I ****en love Jai Arrow. Great player. Great attitude. Every team needs a player like that.

If the movie dodgeball taught me anything other than the 5 D’s it’s to get ANGRY.

We’d be far better off with an attitude like Jai’s than most of ours. He didn’t care about injury excuses or it being to hard, he wanted to win. Something we don’t want enough.

Tried his guts out and a bit of grub, passion and anger doesn’t hurt and it certainly did not hurt that bunnies side.

Fcking diving on a bloke who has already put the ball down was grubby .
And then giving Ezra a spray he looked like an idiot . IMO .

I liked the way Ezra brushed it off .

Still not a fan of the Broncos red-zone attack. They live and die on Reece Walsh throwing a forced pass and hoping it sticks. I think they're relying too much on their #9 which isn't working and instead of catching teams out trying to sprint up on Ezra and Walsh, they're just burning tackles.

Especially when they're attacking the middle third and keep going one out, dead centre with the posts acting as two defenders. Get it outside of the posts and get it to your strike players.

With Willison gone they're going to have to adjust. Haas is really the only barge over weapon they have, especially with Te Kura supposedly injured (hard to get confirmation with QCup taking another week off).

I have to say, if ever there was a golden opportunity to blood Va'a Semu last night was it. No Haas, no Te Kura so a 195cm 110kg Prop to get some reps in would have been more valuable than having Smoothy warm the pine.

Yeah I agree. I remember Graham destroying Herbie back in 23.

But Souths injury problems gave been going on for years, they need to sack their high performance team.

Yeah what’s going on with Semu? Have they forgotten he’s on their books?
