Posting for accountability, was stroke last weekend and hit a 104.... which look, isn't the best, but the saving grace for me is that that was with 42 putts and a bit of meltdown on a couple of holes (4 out of a bunker on one of them). So in essence, my meltdown rounds are now low 100's instead of 110+. Clean up the meltdown holes and not put like a man with no arms and I'll be low 90's, which I am more than happy to around for the time being.Let us know how you go on your next round mate.
The chipping was so so. Some of them came off a treat, sent one into the water (just leaked right, wasn't a missile but didn't get the plane right).
stupidly enough despite all this, my HCP went down .1 lol.
back at again tomorrow with another strokeplay round.
i ended up buying a half/half mat with long artificial turf on one side and a hard pan equivalent on the other with a bunch of plastic balls to practice chipping in the backyard, so hoping to do that daily + a few visits to the range when I have time each week.
