I can see Bukowski getting picked up by another side and us looking around and wondering how we let it happen.

It would have to be extreme for him to leave, he is locked up and has lived his whole life at Red Hill. He's the smartest most sensible kid in the world he won't do a Walsh and go to the Warriors.

Plath 80 minutes, 45 tackles.

He's now played 80minutes in 4/5 first Cup games. At this stage he's just playing and tackling but still impressive.

Awesome performance from Poese in the schoolboys final

Bryenton is the sixth Sterling Medal from Keeba- Te'o, Kahu, Seve, Haas and Fifita. All Broncos and Bryenton now heads to the Bulldogs.

Prelim weekend!

Bears v Dolphins.

I think the Dolphins run out of steam; they limped into the finals and have won two finals up against a rested week off Bears playing at home and the best defence. Common sense would say Bears.

Koellner v Allen is going to be great, Coster is a great leader and then Rogers and Hamiliton just get it to massive outside backs to score five tries.

Geyer to create havoc around tired Dolphins.

Gold Coast A grade Grand Final today.

Undefeated Bears v Tugan.

Coates, McConnell, Turner and Whaiapu all named.

Why did we bother re-signing Paix when we've got Bukowski absolutely killing it.
I was of the same thinking but it might be lucky we did with Walters injury. He won't be back till round 10-ish, and even then it might still take him a while to get his rhythm, and maybe even 2027 till he gets his form like this year back.

Regardless, I would have preferred we kept smoothy with his versatility, but paix is obviously cheaper and happy with a 1 year deal.

Agreed

Dolphins 8-0, they're moving the Bears around and offloading at will.

Phins coming into this game with great momentum on the back of 4 straight wins and looking strong right now.

Soft fifth tackle penalty gets the Bears out of trouble.

Koellner 'wins' another penalty, but Hamilton throws a forward pass to Christensen to alleviate the pressure.

Bears their own worst enemy so far.

Bears need to stop being all angry and standing over the Dolphins and start playing the ball correctly.

Dolphins off the penalty get a quick play the ball off Pitama and get to work.

Plath goes long to James who finds Lui, Miles makes the extra man and finds Dobson unmarked on the wing to score.

Dolphins defence is outstanding, Hamiliton, Rogers long ball to Leo has worked all year.
