It’s not exactly like we haven’t had injuries this year.
Reynolds x2, Ezra suspension, Ezra injury, Cobbo injury. Payne injured but playing through. The Marty issue, various halves pairings and now the Billy injury.
I think the difference is, these boys have probably had a little more tough love, competition and I think Madge has rewarded players for efforts he has seen on the training paddock.
Nothing against Kev, he is a legend and will forever have be a Broncos legend.
Madge I think has just bought in new methodology and perspective.
And you cannot say that our last 3 games haven’t shown the difference in this squad v the last few years.
Lastly, the arrogance is back.

I don't care what anyone says, we're not where we are right now without Kev.

He brought the club together, the culture of the joint.

Some may find that hard to fathom, they were too busy sinking the boot in the have a bit of perspective of the situation. We were the worst comp in the league when Kev took over and it wasn't even close.

I think it's important to have a holistic view.

Kevvie was instrumental in building this club back from the rubble and the depths of the Seibold years. Kev brought back spirit, pride, heart, soul and belief to the playing group and helped rehabilitate our team from wooden spoon back to being competitive. He did such a good job just focusing on those simple tenets that he took us to a Grand Final (should have been a premiership), which is a testament to him as a bloke and a coach.

What he achieved can't be discounted or ignored and I think you're right, there's no way we're in the shape we currently are as a squad or football program without Kevin putting his hand up when nobody else dared to and fought to restore some honour in the jersey he loves so much.

I also think that we had reached the limits of where Walters could take us as a coach. He put us in the position where we could bring in a coach like Maguire to close the gap andg go from just competing to really challenging the top teams. Kev made us respectable again, Madge has made us elite. Madge is building on the foundation laid by Kevvie and I believe neither could have done the full job without what the other brought.

They both deserve immense credit. They both had different jobs to do and both have done an excellent job.

Hughes interviewed as well
- Was confident he'd get through but sore today
- More amatuerish sound issues
- Expecting Broncs to send traffic, hoping Utoikamanu or Katoa can protect him
- He didn't think he would make the prelim but medicos said he was good to go
- Thought he was done for the year until the surgeon said he might be ok if they make the prelim
- The arm is by no means 100%
- Ezra Mam has a dangerous running game, need to try to stop that but they have a lot of players we need to minimise
- Hope we can do a good job but just want to get our game right
- Was very glowing of Mam
- Every year we motivated to get back to the GF, not worried about redemption, just want to give ourselves an opportunity to lift the trophy
- Happy not to be going to the Dally Ms
- Our last game with Broncs taught us to try and not get injured
- We've got our full squad on the park, so we have a great chance to get it done
- Bellamy is hard working himself, so makes us work harder for him as well
- Good thing about Craig is these days he can have a joke, not as serious as he used to be

He's more likeable than Utoikamanu...unfortunately

Does seem like a good bloke.

Hope he lasts 30 seconds into the game tho.

I’ll tell you what. I’m sick of the Broncos being involved in the ‘Greatest Grand Finals of all time’ only to lose. I hope next week is the worst grand final of all time and we win by 60.
We have been involved in the greatest finals and GF of the last 2 decades. We also yesterday cemented Suncorp as the home of world Rugby league. That crowd and atmosphere was college football, Superbowl and European soccer levels of atmosphere.

That is a showcase level game day. No GF has come close, no final south of the border, no bulldog 10 dollar ticket record crowd has come close. You could add another 20k more seats and they would be filled 95% of the year and 100% every final. Yet the moronic NRL have done nothing but attempt to crush us and the knobs in NSWRL media pretend we don't exist most of the year unless we post an L.

If the Broncos could seize that energy and duplicate that atmosphere every home game we would be unbeatable. We would cause fear in the hearts of every team. I hope with everything I have the Broncos supporters have found their long term voice and make the cauldron truely terrifying again.

Ayo........How the **** did the Betoota Advocate produce a better looking mascot than the club itself? Take the Bronco in isolation, **** the Lion: Is that not a pretty cool looking logo? And it was probably done by ****ing A.I.

That shirt is actually on sale, btw:

Slothfield claiming Grant Atkins will be the GF ref.

apparently it wasn't good enough that Klein penalised infringements

Anyone given it any thought that Kev might be a tad sour only because his boy is missing out on a GF spot and the chance for a ring.

As a father sitting with a handful, that must cut pretty deep.

He did mention his disappointment for Billy on his podcast .
He talked with affection about some of the players . Like a proud Uncle .

We are no chance boys, not a chance, dont turn up, whast the point...

- Night time game=storms type of game
- our record against them
-storm are unbeatable with Hughes, munster and Grant all together
- big game players
- defensively we can't match them
- storm have stopped all the great runs of form (hayne*, turbo (not a gf), barba) so will easily stop Walsh
-broncos still dont know what their best combo is and they were clunky in attack
- storm look fresher AND have 2 more days rest than us
-we only won last time becuase of their injuries (but the other game we never would have won despite the injuries)

We are dont for, dont even bother boys, bookies always get it right, fluked it the last couple, our lucks gonna run out....

**** the storm, **** the cheats and rule "pushers", **** bellamy off to retirement after 20 ****ing years of ****ing grubbery and cheating
