POST GAME [PREMIERS, 2025] Broncos vs Storm

Not sure if this has been posted somewhere but Hetherington's body was going through some shit in the back end of the season.

"I have got two torn meniscuses in both my knees," Hetherington told AAP. "I did the injury 10 weeks ago. I just knew we were building to something special so I didn't want to get surgery. I wanted to play on with my brothers and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have put surgery back another two weeks now because I am going to drink piss for the next two weeks.

"The Broncos mean a lot to me. It is going to be a hard day when I clean my locker out. I'm not talking about next year. I am just going to enjoy this with my brothers. How good is it? I am just happy for all the boys. I can't believe it. I will be celebrating for the next couple of weeks."

Wow. That’s incredible. Gonna miss the guy, he always put in, will always be a Broncos legend now.

Boy how must he feel going to be coached by Seesbums.

Man, it’s Tuesday and no more team lists for a while now 😔.

And, no pregame score predictions from @Santa either. When was he ever wrong 😜?

Well, need to bottle it up and wait for it to process a lot more. Can’t wait for 2026 now 😀.

Hetherington was lowkey one of our best on Sunday. The quick PTB he usually generated, including the one for the Walsh try. Thought our bench in general was great, but Hetherington and X were fantastic. To know he was playing busted is even more impressive.

He bucked off Grant to get the quick play the ball too. The little grub merchant was trying to slow him down and he just threw him off like he was nothing. Setting up arguably the best grand final individual try ever.

Opposition team sucks. We're the champs.

James Graham didn't want us to win.

He has been pissed off all finals games when we won.

I didn't get that vibe.

He's obviously a Doggies man through and through and also admired what the Panthers have achieved but if you watch the triple m shorts of him and Ginane in the commentary booth these past few weeks he's just a real footy fan. Was jumping around in the box like a kid.

I didn't see any bias.

Did we find out why Sailor wasn’t allowed in the sheds? Lol I assume the security didn’t recognise him, I don’t think he has any problems with the club.

Personally I hate the rule but in this day and age, how did Reece get away with leading shoulder first into his try saver on Tui?
Walsh's right hand also hit Tui's face and busted his lip, which may have contributed to the drop ball. I was worried about a penalty try. But they didn't give us the penalty when Walsh was slapped in the face in an earlier tackle so it evens out I guess.

Edit: On closer inspection it was just a thumb. Walshy fingered Tui in the mouth and made him drop it.

Given the amount of coke he used to go through, they were probably concerned they didn't have enough in the shed to go around. *THIS IS A JOKE WENDELL'S LEGAL TEAM*

Yeah, I didn't understand all the Melbourne love. It's like they totally forgot that we dusted these ***** up a few weeks back. I understand they didn't have Grant then but we were pretty dominant and was a comprehensive win.

I wasn't convinced by Melbourne all year. They're Melbourne, I get why the market opened with them and the Panthers as the favourites but I think Melbourne were the favourites all year?

Betting markets are obviously different but even most of the "experts" were saying they were a sure thing...at least until the Panthers decided to get involved and then it became even money. Some really clunky wins and I think a number of their players are living off Origin games and past heroics tbh.
