Aren't the raiders in the running for him to? Would almost be a walk-in start and I think they have the dollars to pay him good coin.

Departed Cowboys young gun set to land NRL lifeline
He was confirmed as a Cowboys departure at the end of 2025.www.zerotackle.com
Just watched the BTFU podcasst with Braith Anasta. Just from body language and tone when he said certain things I think he is a deadset likely chance of leaving the Storm and the 'other team" in the race for him was said in a way that they genuinely are in the race. If there was only limited interest from the Broncos and Pezet wasn't interested in joining I don't know think he would mention it. Is a 360 host and familiar with sensationalism, obviously a breaking news comment gets him some advertising space in papers and shit which is kind of smart I guess but still he would have to have his clients interests before his.
Storm
Obviously he is signed till the end of 29' with a get out clause for this year or should Munster resign with the club. More naturally a 7, and I personally can't see Munster leaving Melbourne for Perth (he hasn't been short a buck in his career, nor would he be going forward). Braith to me seemed pissed off with them and I think some of the selection stuff with Pezet come finals time rubbed them the wrong way. Bellamy likely to move to the Titans or Retire next year his pull factor is limited. Slater IMO is a tough ask to give up the life he has and Braith agrees demonstrating that this at the back of there minds as well. I think with a deal till 29' and so much uncertainty he will take the chance to leave now. The way Braith was speaking didnt seem like he was overly satisfied, If Braith isn't satisfied it means his client isn't, cant be off running your mouth about disappointing string of events if he was likely to stay put. The only reason there is noise is because he isnt content. He will be out the door.
Cows
Decent club, a strong spine and instant starting spot. The team has potential and its a good club with enough strike power, possibility of even playing 7 if he is a more natural 7 and Tom more naturally a 6. Townsville is a shithole which he has no attachments to, consistently underperforms and coaching uncertainty going forward. I won't rule them out but at the very least Parramatta is seeming more favourable.
Eels
Club on the rise that his dad previously played for. Good coach which he has a history with. Reasonably strong spine and excellent halves partner. Closer to home and a big club. Could definetely see Jonah at the Eels. Only concern is does he see himself more naturally as a 7 and is back end of last season enough to convince him that the Eels is somewhere he confidently wants to be.
Broncos
He'd have to wait a year with a likely fair few appearances throughout the season but afterwards he gets the Brisbane Broncos 7 jersey in a premiership window. Unreal spine, forward pack and assets around him. Obviously high level of competition with Duffy and Black there as well which might spook him. Somewhat familiar with south east qld and Brisbane obviously with Falcons and Tigers but yet again move closer to family might be in the back of his head.
If I was Jonah
1. Parra
2. Broncos
3. Storm
4. Cowboys
Unsettled at the Storm, Parra gives him a spot next year where his dad played, Broncos prospect would be great for him but he'd have to wait and uncertainty is there as well making them no real different from Melbourne, Cowboys is in Townsville (eww).
I think the Eels will get there man but they have there fair share of negatives that might push him in Broncos favour

Madge has already shown he can bring the best out of his players and a another 2nd rower to the team is great, especially a former Australian school boy.![]()
Two teams interested in recruiting departed Penrith Panthers forward
He remains unsigned for the 2026 season.www.zerotackle.com
Apparently we are interested in this dude from Penrith.
Why are the sharks trying to sign random, fringe forwards? They have like 15 second rowers already![]()

Quite similar to how Shiba was one one of the great prospects before being barley first gradeWasnt Jamal one of the great prospects, how on earth did he get let go from cowboys, and now needs a lifeline?
I've still got hope for Mozer.Daily Tele reporting tonight Broncos have now decided against loaning Blake Mozer to a rival for 12 months. Mainly due to Walter's injury obviously.
You would think next year is a big season for this fella. Lots of hype, needs to start putting it together. He wouldn't be the first hooker to be very highly touted in the NRL but never really reach the heights expected.
