What did civo say? Ive gotta say, the media are making out like the old boys are against the broncos but I have never seen them more united behind the club outside of CONEHEAD and walters. Thaiday, civo, thorn, Langer, lockyer, hodges, parker, hunt.
Would love to see him sledge someone in todays game like he gave to Danny Buderus in Origin. HAHAHAHAGet Hodgo in the blue shirt, as long as his hammy's can hold up he would be perfect. May be the first trainer sanctioned for sledging the opposition too hard.
100% this IMO.
Also, I know someone who has had firsthand dealings with Teo outside of footy and his personality definitely matches what people have been saying. "Strong" can be one nice way to put it.
I read somewhere that Hodgo (Justin Hodges) came out publicly saying he would pick up the phone if called and help the Broncos because he loves them so much. May not be a defence coach but if he was Ballin's eyes and ears on the field, he would be an amazing motivator & messenger I reckon.
Also, loved what Petero said in the sheds after Melbourne. One bloke who was hard as nails and professionally stood up to CONEHEAD' comments (who is a Bronco in history and a current Titan).
I thought she was NSW based
It’s been that long since one of our backs have taken a run from dummy half? Can’t believe it’s a decade since he retired. Where did that time go?
Get Hodgo in the blue shirt, as long as his hammy's can hold up he would be perfect. May be the first trainer sanctioned for sledging the opposition too hard.

Exactly, Phil Gould is the only sane voice I have heard on this. Fox pushing Te'o has principals bla bla is nonsense. He is a guy who walks away when he doesn't see things his way. So I am glad a guy who couldn't buy in is gone. We don't want yes men, but we don't need I know better men. Especially a guy who couldn't win his QLD cup GF and has never coached NRL. He is actually on an apprenticeship at this level and should have worked out when the coach makes his call, you buy in and get the message across to everyone else.Phil Gould has weighed in on the Madge/Te'o situation.
Basically, what's happened between Madge and Ben having a disagreement is common among coaching staff's and ultimately what the coach says goes, he's the one that makes the call, not the assistants.
From the outside looking in Trent and Madge seem to work well together. Their interactions in the box always seem very genuine. Trent ain't a good head coach but he always seems to do well in the assistant coach seat.I don't think I'm wrong in saying that when a new coach joins a club he usually brings his 'team' with him. A coach leaving a club for whatever reason usually means the end of the road for his support team. So, having said all of that, I reckon Ben Te'o and Trent Barrett were a little fortunate that Madge honoured whatever agreement Kevvie had made by keeping them on the team. To start throwing crap at the coach doesn't look good on your resume and is pretty rich when you could have been out of a job over 12 months ago.

Teo with the blue shirt out there yelling at the guys on the field, etc.
