Starting side will still look pretty good. As long as Bukowski handles the ruck well. And I hope Madge had them training a lot defensively especially around our halves/centre/2R combinations.
Bench isn't too bad either. I saw JGos play 2R and JHunt played prop in QCUP on the weekend. I hope Riki is all good, because from the looks of it, JGos is the only option in that spot.
I rate JHunt, he just hasn't had much NRL time, he has mostly done a goob job filling in when needed. Probably doing a Talty role this week.
I would think Talty goes to lock, considering he has played there before in reserve. Haas probably playing close to 80. Maybe as bit of ball playing like he has done in past to assist Talty
And as for Reynolds, I would actually prefer Duffy to play 7 this week, and we put Reyno as half backup, there is no guarantee he will
1. Play good enough to basically win us the game, need a performance like he did vs Dolphins
2. Last the game.
Duffy didn't do a whole lot wrong attacking wise or defensively. He definitely creates tries, converts well, defends modestly and his kicks are pretty on point, other than 1 that went out on the full, and a few shallow kicks that happen time to time.
I'd assume:
1. Arthars
2. Kara
3. Staggs
4. Gem - I wouldn't be surprised if Gem is benched and Hayze goes to wing, mariner to Centres or something like that. Gem looking slow to make contact when there is enough space for opposition to move. But we'll see.
5. Mariner
6. Mam
7. Reyno (if good) / Duffy (Please be him)
8. CJ
9. Cam
10. Haas
11. Piak
12. Riki / JGos
13. Talty
14. Rogers ? (Who I thought did really well in the middle, really tried to control that ruck, and is a big boy, gives us a good boot out of dummy half too)
15. Willison
16. JHunt
17. JGos/Semu
18. Nio
19. Hayze
Getting down to the nitty gritty of the Top 30. Long story short, we can't give up soft tries and easy line breaks like we did against Cows. We still have enough in attack to win.
