The Footy Show has been axed!

She wasn't even the worst co-host!

Remember when they tried to push Rebecca Wilson in 2005?

Unfortunately she's no longer with us but it didn't last too long.
Can’t remember that. Gladly I might add. Michael slater was always a wtf thing for me though? Anyway doesn’t matter who they put on when it wasn’t even a show about footy anyway.

They just called it that.

Beau knows was a funny segment when it first came out then at some point it just became him interviewing people that couldn’t even speak English while the audience and canned laughter roared it up at how they didn’t understand the questions and gave confused answers.

bourbon bec now there is a blast from the past
I only remember her because I remember she must have had a shithouse final week on earth. She hated paul gallen and the sharks and loved the Sydney swans. She died the same week Cronulla won the gf and Sydney swans lost it……

My memory is pretty hazy at the best of times but can someone remind me why she was so hated? What were her controversial opinions/writings?

Yeah I looked it up. She also called anybody that booed Adam Goodes a racist….she was a swans fan. Didn’t go down too well with most afl fans.

When l started watching NRL and paying attention to the Footy Show, Sterlo was still it and the show had a genuine larrikin feel to it. it was an honest fun show to watch but it slowly declined and eventually Fatty was the last man standing from the golden era.

Anti-ads were funny
Dare Devil stuff with chief was hilarious
Dark Rooms
Chilly eating
There was a lot of random funny moments, gained a lot of respect for Sterlo after the paint ball challenge; he is a hard nut but has no love for the Broncos.

However one thing stayed with me

Never seen someone crushed like that it was ****ed up.

Awwwww ****, was that legit?

I think it was, there was something in the paper about it during the week. Honestly if it wasn't genuine that guy deserves an Oscar.

What was the clip of?

Yeha Beau knows was pretty funny for a while. Beau knows Benji and Beau knows Leichardt were great. Things on TV usually end up dumbing things down as they go along.

I think it was fake. But if not the guy kinda deserves it. Would never propose to someone in such a public setting, it kinda backs them into a corner and almost forces them to say yes.
