NEWS Kahu serious

Really? That's what has hurt your feelings but the hundreds, no thousands of times Boyd has been called names doesn't draw your ire? Rightio.

No, not particularly. I don’t get hurt feelings.

The boys who don’t like it, you do realise you can go purchase a subscription and completely bypass McHunts paraphrasings.?

his jokes are hit and miss and I personally preferred the tl:dr versions but I still much appreciate what he’s doing, cause I’m not paying to read the far shitter originals.

I pay for my subscription and come into these threads wanting to discuss the news that I pay to read. You probably don’t remember but this site was a discussion forum at one point.

I believe they do, they just want to discuss it without the messenger making a spectacle of themselves.

Fair points. I guess the topic can still be pretty easily discussed though. The only thing that seems to be taking to threads is arguments over his versions of the news.

to be honest I don’t really remember it ever being much different to how it is now. Or how most online discussions tend to be.

You make a fair point about the paid subscription though.

Do you pay to discuss things or pay to not see things you don't like? If old mate throws in a few attempts at humour (which may or not suit the tastes of any particular individual) while summarising the news articles many of us are unable to read, does that in and of itself make it too difficult for you to discuss the gist of the article?

Feel free to do a better job mate.

I don't mind, just pointing out that telling others to go pay for their own news is missing their point.

What I’d like to see is each player having a thread, that way we don’t have the same anti-Boyd circle jerk in 5 threads at the same time next year.

I like this idea, but realistically it would just become a dump thread and wouldn't lead to any meaningful discussion.

You don’t pay a subscription for the news on BHQ mate. You pay for it through the media moguls.

Obviously, I never claimed otherwise...

Can't please everyone, but there probably wouldn't be discussion of these articles since most cant seem to be arsed paying for the news.

I think the point is that when it was first suggested that someone paraphrase these articles it seemed like a chore. If he makes it less onerous by amusing himself and some of us then that’s fine by me as long as the gist of the article isn’t lost. It’s up to us to take that information and make a decent conversation out of it.

So Kahu, huh: how about that guy?
2 years ago he was solid backup for the whole back line but now we have incredible depth. Isaako, Oates, Bird, Staggs, Milford and Croft will all be named for round 1. That means we have Boyd, Kahu, Herbie, Coates, Arthars, Perese, Vudogo and Perese all competing for 1 vacant spot. I think it’s common sense that we prioritise some of the younger guys that we think will be part of the team for years to come rather than someone like Kahu who won’t be here after next season.
Boyd and Kahu are the past. Time to put our faith in the next generation.

You can really tell it's the off season.

Btw I thought I heard Kahu would be gone for half the season now he's saying round 1?

BTW I named Perese twice when I meant to end with Kennar but I couldn’t edit for some reason.

Kahu better pull up his big boy pants otherwise he better polish up his social media ‘influencer’ game quick smart.
Kahu was featured on the Broncs Facebook page making a smoothie or something with another player. I scrolled past pretty quick but thought it was funny he was on there.

Yeah, he’s been working social media hard for the last couple of years, and to be fair, he’s actually pretty good with video editing/filming/ production. I think he realises that he’s on borrowed time.
Just a reply from another thread , when you posted an Olympic gold medal winner .
Can you please fucking read before you reply, and can you please tell who's run under 10's in the NFL . Did you get that ...NFL .... not a fucking 100m sprinter a ... N....F.....L.... player.

Yeah this is the major risk with playing him. It risks alienating some of the up and coming guys who might be tempted to look elsewhere for an opportunity.

The injury crisis would have to be very deep in deed before Kahu should get anywhere near a Broncos jersey. The likelihood of Kahu not being part of that injury crisis at the same time makes this even more extremely unlikely.

Think you’ll find you can’t read champ...

This was amazing haha.

Spot on about @pagey needing to lay off the methanol cocktails, they tend to leave your brain cells in a worse state than Jordan Kahu.
