I think Souness has ruled himself out and Sam is pretty much a certainty. Pretty stoked if anyone can keep us up its Allardyce. Bring on the long balls.

No doubt Allardyce is the best option.

Hopefully West Ham will get dragged down into it if they are forced to sell some of their players as a result of being a pack of cheating cu*ts.

How exactly are they a pack of cheating c*nts? If you're referring to the Tevez saga then you are a complete twat. I'm guessing that's what it is though, you mentioned earlier about how much you hate west ham (You seem like an overly angry bloke by the way) so it's obvious that your blind hatred for them would make you say that. Maybe you're a closet Sheffield fan. The team that BEAT west ham 3-0 in the relegation battle but are so petty and pathetic that they can't stand up and admit their fate was in their own hands. Yeah, Tevez played a big part in West Ham staying up, but if it was your team you wouldn't have a problem with it would ya? Or perhaps any other team that you don't hate.

Played a big part?

They would have gone down for sure without him.

If what they did was not cheating then why are they being so heavily punished? Clearly they have been judged to be cheating. This shit isn't even including the blatant favour that Fergie handed out on the last day.

Yeah I hate them, but it doesn't change the fact that they cheated and deserve to get relegated for it.

As far as me seeming like an "overly angry bloke", I couldn't care less how I seem to you. Go dickride Liverpool some more.[/quote:362hkqdc]

I wasn't asking you to care, I was making an observation. I'm not a Liverpool fan either.

So what if they would have gone down without him? How do you know Sheffield wouldn't have still be relegated had Tevez never gone to West Ham?

Heavily punished? Only after how many appeals those whinging sheffield losers have made? And West Ham are appealing that aren't they?

Cheating my arse. They were not doing anything any other club wouldn't have done. The FA and Premier League ruled that West Ham were in the clear after their fine, so they continued to play Tevez. Yeah I can see how that is cheating

The club is being fined a great deal of money for what they did. You don't get fined as a result of complying with the rules.

They were already punished by the FA, fined 5.5 million pounds. While they got off lightly they were still punished. After that, as far as West Ham knew they were completely within their rights to play Tevez. What Sheffield are after is compensation for them breeching Premier League rules to sign Mascherano and Tevez and as a result aiding them in their relegation battle. But as I said before, Sheffields relegation fight was in their own hands and they are the ones who f*cked it up.

EXCLUSIVE: Real mess - Greedy Pennant blows dream Madrid move...now he's set for Wigan

By Simon Jones

Jermaine Pennant has priced himself out of an incredible move to Real Madrid as his wage demands forced a £3.5million transfer to collapse last night.

Madrid were expecting to announce the unlikely signing today after agreeing a fee with Liverpool for their reserve right winger, who has started only two Barclays Premier League matches this season.

Instead Pennant, who asked for £60,000 a week  almost double what was being offered by the Spanish giants  will now have to decide whether to accept a loan offer from Wigan or Stoke.

At the JJB Stadium he would be able to play for Steve Bruce again. He will then be a free agent in the summer when he believes he can command a better salary.

Although the salary demand is not remarkable in the modern game, Madrid  who have just spent £20million on Lassana Diarra from Portsmouth  set a ceiling on their pay offer.

At 6pm last night, Sportsmail believed the deal was close to conclusion, only for it to break down two hours later when Pennant’s demands emerged. Madrid will not negotiate on their basic salary offer of £1.5m-a-year.

Liverpool and Real, who meet in the last 16 of the Champions League at the end of February, thrashed out a transfer after Real’s first-choice target, Tottenham’s Aaron Lennon, was out of their price range.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp made it clear he does not want to sell Lennon.

Former Spurs manager Juande Ramos, now in charge at Madrid until the end of the season, wants to add pace to his team and told transfer go-betweens that 25-year-old Pennant’s ability to run at defenders made him a worthwhile gamble.

While the Real boss could not guarantee a first-team place, he planned to use Pennant as an ‘impact sub’.
Gambler: Ramos identified Pennant as a transfer target, but the 25-year-old shunned the deal and his role as an 'impact sub'

Gambler: Ramos identified Pennant as a transfer target, but the 25-year-old shunned the deal and his role as an 'impact sub'

Still, the deal would have been a remarkable chance for Pennant to transform his career after an indifferent season in which he has fallen out of favour with Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez.

The winger was even pictured guzzling Jack Daniel’s whiskey from a bottle outside an Essex nightclub last month.

Pennant was offered to Stoke and Blackburn in the summer. Neither would meet his wage demands and so both deals collapsed.

Pennant’s deal at Anfield is worth around £30,000-a-week. Pennant, who has not
played for England at senior level, could not understand why a move to Madrid would benefit his career.

A friend said: ‘Why would he go there when the chances of playing in the first team are remote? He has had enough of that from his time at Anfield. He wants first-team football and the chance of a regular run in the team.’

Pennant, who started his career at Notts County, has played for Arsenal, Watford, Leeds and Birmingham in a chequered career.

He signed for Arsenal as a 15-year-old for £2million and later cost Liverpool £6.7million from Bruce’s Birmingham, where he showed glimpses of his exciting talent.

He gained notoriety in 2005 when he had to play wearing an electronic tag following a
drink-driving conviction.

Firstly, what the **** are Real Madrid doing trying to sign him? Ramos is nuts.

Secondly, Pennant is an absolute gronk, what a fucking idiot, fair dinkum. [icon_non

Found it hard to believe at first, but the story has also been in 'The Guardian'.

I like it how Rafa "washes his hands of players". I wish I could spend millions on objects that everyone always knew were pretty ordinary and then just "wash my hands of them".

LOL, whatever.

I'll admit I am getting concerned though. Liverpool are doing what they always do and giving away points to lower midtable sides, its just that everyone else seems to be horrible as well. I am hoping for a midseason Manure revival. WAR WINKY!!!

Seems like when one of the "Big" 4 drop points, they all do. I want Liverpool to win it just to change things up. I am SICK of seeing Chelski and the manc c*nts win everything. It would be nice to see another surprise team win the FA cup as well.

Pennant to Real Madrid is back on according to various media reports.

[icon_lol1.

I still can't believe it.

He has loads of potential pity he is a f##kwit who can't keep his head screwed on for more than 5 seconds at a time.

Shit, that is a surprise. You are pretty much just a Liverpool fan in disguise.

He's not the one who feels the need to talk about Liverpool in the majority of his posts in this thread.

If anyone was a closet Liverpool fan, i'd say it would be you. icon_thumbs_u

I'm the farthest thing from a scouse you smoggy bastard. Out of the 4 that could win the title I'd prefer to see a northern team win it, and I hate the mancs more than Liverpool.

One thousand curses on you and your family for that insinuation.

Clearly not the "farthest" thing, or you wouldn't be pulling for them to win it. They have pretty much no chance though, fortunately.

Did a scouser kill your family or something? Or perhaps steal your hubcaps? Seriously WTF is your problem mate?

I am a Sunderland fan. While I can't stand any of the big 4 I was saying I would prefer Liverpool to win it as I'm sick of the same teams winning the premier league all the f***ing time.
The big reason I hate the top 4 is 90% of their followers worldwide are plastic fans. Same goes for the big clubs in all of the european leagues. It's like people just pop out of bed and decide "Ok, today I'm going to be a football fan...now...what team should I choose? Hmmm let's see, who wins everything? And who does every other bloke support?"
The funny thing is, whenever this comes up, all the plastic glory hunters get really up in arms about it "F*ck off! I'm not a glory hunter! I hate when people say that! I'm their biggest fan, it doesn't matter if they're successful or not!"

Bollocks.

Funny that whenever I have insinuated that anyone on here might not exactly be a "die hard scouser" I am called sad and bitter yet it seems to be ok for you to do it.

I want the big 4 to end as much as anyone, which is why Villa is my second favourite team. I don't see how cheering for Liverpool to win the league does anything as they are already in the 4. Do you actually think them winning would change anything? It wouldn't. It would just mean more smug cu*ts walking around proclaiming what great Liverpool fans they are. It would actually be worse because there are more of them around here than any other team. That might be why I prefer Chelski win it. I have pretty much never known one of their fans, and now that I do actually know one, he has begun to annoy me to the point that I am back on the Utd bandwagon.

I have nothing against Liverpudlians, I don't hate Everton. I just hate that goddam awful club and its fans.
