Well not a professional football contract, I wasn't aware I was supposed to be trying for one tbh. And roar optimist is an oxy-moron.

Indeed, it is. We are shit. Worse than Newcastle.

never been a fan of Klose. Hes scored a shit load of goals in world cups which is pretty damn bragable, but i dont think his skill level is good enough to be talked about amongst the elite players.

Ningers, in these times of need, how would you like big Miro up front?

http://www.goal.com/en/news/10/italy/20 ... -inter-and

He's somewhat fallen out of favour at Bayern getting minimal game time. In an interview, despite what the article says, he said that he felt that he was third in the pecking order behind Gomez and Luca Toni. With the WC coming up next year, he would like to get some more valuable minutes on the pitch under his belt as he is still very much in favour with the national side.

I feel that he will possibly leave Bayern at the end of the current season and seek a gig where he can be a more permanant fixture for a longer time on the field.

It's the club's fault though, they did a mini Real Madrid of sorts and spent up big. They can't justify Gomez and Toni warming the bench on a cool 20 million + each, so I feel Miro will be the casualty.

How about it mate?

I've said it here first. He won't be at Bayern Munich next year. He could go to Koln to chill with Podolski, but he could also go to England.

Read that a week or two back. Would love to have him.

He knows how to find the back of the net, and having someone with the ability of Klose to step in when Torres is injured or whatever, would be excellent.

He's won a couple of Golden Boot WC Awards has he not?

In any case, close to every goal he's scored in World Cups has been off his head if I remember correctly.

Give him the GoldenKopf.

I got the same impression though Penny. Nothing flashy, but quite reliable and does tend to get the job done well.

I swear the most undesirable position in that international team is the keeper. Who wants to live up to that?

A pic of the great man was posted a week or so ago. Good job. icon_thumbs_u

Have you seen the highlights?? Your second goal was ridiculous!

Real Madrid got beaten in the Copa Del Rey by a Segunda B team (3rd Tier) this morning by...........wait for it

4-0

And they played some quality players too; Raul, Benzema, Guti, Arbeloa plus others. I love it when Real do things like this it warms my heart.

Apparently that team is in the same division as Real's youth team or something.

I wouldn't call Guti quality either.

He plays regularly for the first team. Real are ghey lets just leave it at that.

GUTI IS SHIT.

We were all thinking it, even fenomeno was. [icon_wink

Go Real. Well done. although we did lose to a russian dude called Rubin. but still LOL

I think there were 3 dubious looking handballs in that game which went unbooked

I cannot fathom the stupidity of Real Madrid's staff who decided to sign Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema which effectively made it impossible for Higuain to start every week. He was their best player last year and was the difference for them today, I understand bringing in new players but why the hell did they think they needed to replace this guy? If I were Maradona I would be finding a spot for him in my first 11 coming up to South Africa probably at the expense of Aguero seeing how bad Atletico are travelling.

Higuain can play with Benzema, Raul isn't going to play every match. Yes Higuain is brilliant, was sensational last season as well, but the gap between Benzema and Higuain isn't as big as you make it sound.

Aguero's banging Diego's daughter, so i doubt Higuain will be in the starting lineup. Although you are right, Higuain should be there, but overall, I think Aguero's the better player right now.
