2011/12 NFL Season

Their defense has been dominate. Patrick Willis and co haven't allowed a rushing TD all year.

The problem is that their offense is so one dimensional. Gore is the focal point and once they come up against a strong rushing defense (which they will in the post season) they just can't score points. Take this weeks loss to Baltimore for instance. The Ravens stacked the box and the rushing game had no where to go meaning they had to rely on the pass.

They have a play off spot wrapped up but I can't see them doing anything with it - particularly having to compete with the high powered offenses of the Packers and Saints.

They should have the #2 seed in the NFC and a bye week but agreed that their chances aren't as good as their record suggests. I reckon they'll end up playing the Saints in their first game and basically they'd need it to snow to have a chance, because I reckon the Saints will torch them otherwise.

Cheers guys. :handshake:

I'll just start following the NFL again, and see where they end...

Tebow now 5-1 as a starter this year bitches!

Still the most horrible winning streak ever.

I dunno, Winning 18 in a row then losing super bowl would be worse IMO.

Meanwhile what's happenned to the Chargers? Phil Rivers?

Playing injured apparently.

No one can confirm it though. He's really gone off the rails this year,

Raiders 7-4!!! Loving this season.

Still the most horrible winning streak ever.

Watching Tebow play qb is like watching a newborn giraffe walk. Hilarious and awkward and no idea what to do but somehow gets the job done.

After that Giants win I'm starting to get excited about this season. I know the Pats aren't on fire at the moment, but they're still one of the toughest teams in the competition. Beating them without Nicks or Bradshaw is a big deal.

And right after I say that the wheels fall off the NY season. Awesome.
