Their defense has been dominate. Patrick Willis and co haven't allowed a rushing TD all year.
The problem is that their offense is so one dimensional. Gore is the focal point and once they come up against a strong rushing defense (which they will in the post season) they just can't score points. Take this weeks loss to Baltimore for instance. The Ravens stacked the box and the rushing game had no where to go meaning they had to rely on the pass.
They have a play off spot wrapped up but I can't see them doing anything with it - particularly having to compete with the high powered offenses of the Packers and Saints.
