only mentioned his name because we don't have a lock.. We have Arrow who was less than impressive this year in limited time. Just thought a gap filler for a year to give these young guys another year of easing into the side before we lose the likes of Thaiday and Blair. We have a bunch of second rowers and props but no genuine lock with any experience.

That's the reason I've mentioned before that we should look at signing Shaun Fensom. An ideal replacement for Parker who won't be a defensive liability and can play long minutes. His high work rate will considerably soften the blow of losing Parker. We still need bigger props as we've all mentioned countless times.

Do we have no genuine hookers coming through our system. We seem to have this fixation on trying to mould small halves as bench hookers. History shows that it affects their development as a half and doesn't seem to be developing a genuine understudy hooker for the future. Tbh i don't really understand the re signing of kodi...what is his long term outlook at the club with hunt milford and macca all potentially around for a while yet.

I forgot Thaidy he's usually on and off but they drop the ball a lot including McGuire.

Josh McGuire has made like 10 errors in the part 3 years

I have a feeling MPJ might just make it into the 17 for next year just quietly if he shows the determination in the off-season. He has matured a lot this year and isn't taking stuff for granted anymore. He is quality.

At full strength, there is only one backline position open. Kahu, Boyd, Oates & Roberts all have their spots locked down. It will be tough for him to crack the starting line up at full strength with Pearson, Mead, Opacic all in the running too.
