Wallace has proven he is ready to start going off his back of the year performances. I have no doubt he will start for the titans and quite frankly, he deserves it. He has put the hard yards in and will be rewarded for it. Its a shame it isn't with us unfortunately.

Yeah he was one I was hoping to keep. He makes the occasional error and gives away a customary dumb penalty but he has come on leaps and bounds. Do you think we'd go better with him starting than McGuire? Or is McGuire still ahead of him?

If we had him for 17, I would have shifted Blair to Lock and had him starting with McGuire. McGuire is still above him in the pecking line because of his motor but the gap isn't as far as it once was.

Don't see the fuss in Wallace may be wrong but for 400 thousand Titans can have him, his silly errors and free penalties. We need size and power in the front row. At this stage take anyone out of favour big or strong enough that Bennett can shape into form until TPJ is ready. McGuire or Blair can move to lock although if could get TPJ ready would like Blair off the bench after 20 minutes.

Like the idea of Macca playing lock/dual dummy half if Kodi plays the last 50 mins of hooker. Although still think we are short a genuine organiser in the spine. Also like to see players get well rested post origin even if we throw a game. Be good to rotate the bench and rest injured or fatigued players mid season so we don't slump and have guys ready to cover stupid suspensions.

Like to see young guys like Sua, Ese, Ofa, Opaic and Arrow get a bit of time but then go back and learn to play long minutes in Qcup. Regarding new coaching staff how about the Walker brothers on attack - doesn't suit Wayne's style but Wayne doesn't teach attack apparently anyway. Get Bennett focused on man management and the big picture (long term view is some sort of director of coaching when hits 70), get someone hard nosed but smart enough to wrestle well focusing on defence.

Time to invest in goal kicking coaching too. Maybe need some sports psychology and the right old footballers around the fix the mindset. We also need to take it to the NRL and put the pressure on for fair treatment by the refs, judiciary, and draw (no Constant Friday night games don't help us attack better in dewy conditions, get match fit for hotter day games or look after the fans).

We don't need to be whingers like certain other current premiership contenders but it's time to go hard on the PR front for the rest of the competition to learn appreciate how much money and interest the Broncs generate and their big fat pay checks would be less fat without us succeeding. It is shameful for a powerhouse like us not to win in over 10 years and self destruct at critical moments the last two years. We have the resources. Time to move forward from the current systems that lead to close but no cigar. We also need to future proof and avoid the pattern of failure that happens after Bennett leaves a club.

last years GF loss and being favourites in 2016 put the team under a fair bit of pressure.

only mentioned his name because we don't have a lock.. We have Arrow who was less than impressive this year in limited time. Just thought a gap filler for a year to give these young guys another year of easing into the side before we lose the likes of Thaiday and Blair. We have a bunch of second rowers and props but no genuine lock with any experience.
