2017 Line-up

Wtf. why?? He's shown no standout, must-play-first-grade qualities to mean he is a guaranteed walk into a starting spot.. players have to develop! They bide their time and learn their trade. That's league. That's all professional sport! You should wait your turn til you're ready or risk doing a jayden nikorima
Agree..but other club who are building like Newcastle may see this as an opportunity. .. you cant blame them

The kid can play. While we may have a bit of a logjam of talent in the 13, it doesn't mean other clubs are the same. Arrow will play as a starter in first grade, hopefully with the Broncs.

I don't think glenn could handle starting prop. I think you will find Bennett wants big bodies up front and on the bench . Think about the top teams last year had big packs .

Woops my bad. Didnt mean to piut Glenn at prop.

I have a feeling Thaiday will start off the bench with Glenn
No inside info, just my hunch

This wouldn't surprise me. With Parker now gone, I get the feeling Bennett wont want to have either Thaiday and Blair off the field at the same time. They are our forward leaders and he will want one of them on the park at all times

Is that just to start the season, Smokin' Joe Smokin' Joe? I certainly have thought that could be a possibility as well to ease him back into match fitness and get some experience into one or two young guys starting.

Out of curiosity, what will make McGuire a good lock?

I don't think the way he plays will change one bit. He will just get a lot more minutes now. As long as he can keep his usual standard for longer minutes I have no problem with him playing lock

I have a bit of a problem with him playing lock.

To me, the best person for the job is Gillett.

He is our defensive rock on that right edge, but attack wise he is being wasted out there..

He would be so much more suited for lock.

Would he be as effective as lock Gillett? I mean the lock these days are a third prop with a bigger motor (ie Parker, Gallen, Taumololo etc). They don't have to be the same size as a prop but generally run up the middle. I think Gillett would be better utilised as a hole runner running wider off the ruck provided he is given decent balls.
