He was looking pretty good in the trial against the Sharks last pre-season before he got injured, might be an outside chance at that left centre spot until Bird returns, or left wing if we move Oates to the 2nd row.

and none of Isaako, Allan or the young backs have even played a single game at NRL level. there is no guarantee that they would even be any good (or are suited to wing, e.g. both Allan and Isaako are fullbacks).

what you can be sure of though is that Oates can not only handle wing, but excels at it.

you can also be sure that Glenn, Gillett, McGuire, TPJ perform well in the back row and you can add in the likes of Thaiday, Su'A, Sims and Offahengue that can also handle the position if required and Savello (spelling?) also has some wraps on him from the ESL

terupe is a big smokey, i liked him a lot before he got injured. dont be surprised to see him feature next year in the top grade.
he is a big unit and incredible under the high ball.
