Forget #SeiboldOut, #AvoidBoyd or even the old classic #OustDoust, I'm looking for #GoodnightWhite and #WhateverRhymesWithBoardButMeansGetFuckedYouStupidCuntsBoard.
I saw an interview with Corey Oates that was longerI'm not expecting White to do the job. There was no mention of anything else other than the coaching staff and players. Maybe that's because it is not his area, but surely the fans were entitled to a wee bit more than the 2:29 minutes of platitudes he served up.
The biggest joke is that they are calling for a second team in Brisbane when we haven't even got one at the moment.
Maybe I heard it wrong but did he say
something on the lines of it's upto the players and coaching staff to make the review of 2019?
"It'll be up to the coaching staff and the players to review the year, that will happen over the next couple of weeks.."
-Paul White, Brisbane Broncos CEO
A prime example of where this club is going so, so wrong imo.
Do they genuinely believe each and every player, coach and coaching staff is going to be completely honest with their self assessment and assessments of their team mates and coach? It just will not happen. End of story.
Is Darius really going to walk into a room and say look guys, I am cooked, I am no captain, and I am not at NRL standard any longer.
Get an independent review done, players and coach are going to make excuses, and all we are going to hear is how much hurt this playing group felt over this loss and the sub-par year blah blah blah.
They did it last week after the Dogs game. The players and coach came out and said how poor and embarrassed they were after a loss to the Dogs. That had nothing on last nights loss.
An internal assessment from the players and coaching staff is so far from what needs to be done to turn this mess around its not funny.
This video is Paul White completely scared of loosing members, fans and sponsors - and he should be.
Fair enough, I wasn't too sure what he meant by that.Players do a review at the end of every year, like a end of year interview and performance review.
Coaching staff do their review on the whole team and themselves.
So White has promised us something we do every year by default?Players do a review at the end of every year, like a end of year interview and performance review.

It was the end of the year player review that got Henjak, When White started he read it and acted straight away.
Wouldn't it be more productive for the board to do the review on the playing group? Letting them do it on themselves is like letting the inmates run the asylum.
What you're telling us (and please correct me if I'm off base), is basically White read a document that included comments from the players that, when he was done reading it, White immediately made moves to sack the coach.
TL;DR The players whined about the coach and the CEO didn't hesitate to side with the players. That is exactly what we don't need right now.
The board had voted to sack him too in October but they were over ruled, White started in the new year and read the review and said this can't happen this is a mess and acted.
Renouf: The tough decisions Broncos must now make
It is time for the Broncos to hold players and staff accountable after Sunday’s capitulation to the Eels and that should start with a tough conversation with captain Darius Boyd about retiring early and transitioning into a job at the club.www.nrl.com
Finally, somebody gets what we've all been calling for over the last two seasons.
Yeh go Pearl. One of the most quiet of the old boys, but when he speaks here he tells it like it is.Wow, that is actually pretty superb from the Pearl
What your thoughts @Smokin' Joe ?
I really hope those changes include seibolds support staff, maybe a Hodges or one of the walker bros .Same as my post earlier in the year. It’s a season to take our medicine.
So many panic switches being pushed by everyone here. Yes we were pumped, no it’s not good enough. But... from where we were at the start of the year, to now, is a vastly different club. New principles, new players, new staff - and I think somewhat importantly - no lingering Wayne mentality. The Wayne era is gone and for the better of the future of the club too I might add.
Things ARE going in the right direction despite the display yesterday. There ARE going to be changes, significant ones too. And the club will 100% be better for it. Some of those changes will come quickly too.
The coach has laid the beginnings of a new era. Judge him and the players this time next year. Not now.
I like the sounds of this.Same as my post earlier in the year. It’s a season to take our medicine.

Exactly that is what I like about an ex player like Renouf who can express his opinion with outright truth and straight to the point without an agenda or making it personnel.Yeh go Pearl. One of the most quiet of the old boys, but when he speaks here he tells it like it is.
