If France beat or draw with Denmark, all we need to do is draw with them. A loss to Denmark sees them finish on 4 points and us on 3.

To give us hope, we played Denmark in 2018 and we came away with a draw.

Granted, there wasn't as much on the line as there would be in this game.

They did great in the Euros when their was little to no pressure, there's a bit of pressure on them now.

If Denmark turn up they will beat Australia. This is a pretty poor Australia side in reality, very little quality in pretty much every position. Ryan is still a good keeper but there isnt the top level talent that used to be there.

Last World Cup, we could only score a goal if it was from a penalty. I would consider this World Cup a step up.

We were going up against a pretty desperate Tunisia side, even some of the best in the world have struggled against sides that are playing desperate in this World Cup. We left a couple of goals out there, the biggest one being the one in the second half. If MacClaren just put a fraction less power on that cross, we're up 2-0. There was an opportunity in the first half where we would have a player in behind the defence but the Australian player receiving the ball just couldn't control it well enough.

There was nothing in Denmark's performance against Tunisia that said we can't match them, or even beat them.

We could do a lot better with our execution, we're really lacking speed on the counter attacks and we're lacking quality play makers. And that's an area the FFA need to recognize and address. We can't rely on the A-League for players, because it's an amateur comp that's only going to develop amateur players. They aren't learning and developing their game in the best systems, so we either need to start sending players over to Europe or we need to go on a poaching road in Europe for quality coaches that can teach our players and implement systems for them to improve their skills and become better players.
