England really making Iran work in defence here.

They're getting quite a few chances to create goals.

Iran defenders just held off him in the box. He improved his position in the box and just nails it in.
 
Iran finally score.

Nice little pass into the box from Gholizadeh and despite the attention of Stones, Taremi was able to nail it into the goal. Maguire just fell asleep. Taremi was his man.
 
Rashford! That's it.

Kane with a pass to Rashford who was making a run down the right and he just had all the space and time he needed to nail it into the box. Iran only had 3 defenders at the back.

He had only just come on. I think it was his first touch.
 
England have their 6th goal.

Rashford with a pass in behind the defenders for Wilson who was in the clear and could have taken the shot himself, but passes it back in to Grealish who had an open goal and scores his first of the tournament.
 
10 minutes of added time, they could quite easily score another two.

They're getting plenty of chances to create more goals.
 
Iran gets a penalty.

Stones played the man inside the box and denied him a chance to compete for the ball from the free kick.
 
And Taremi gets his second.
 
A good start to England winning their first game 6-2.

England had complete control of that game. They dominated possession and piled on the goals as a result.
