the QLD government have said that it is too hard to do this, so they wont be doing it.

although if you live near Ipswich, Limelight Cinema's will be playing the game. the downside is it will cost you $15

Matildas fever will grip Brisbane on Wednesday night, when three live sites hosting 23,000 fans open across the city for the “biggest game of football in history”.
The Riverstage will join an expanded South Bank fan site and King George Square to showcase the Matildas’ semi-final against England.

Acting Premier Steven Miles struck a deal with Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner to open the Riverstage after Sport Minister Stirling Hinchliffe earlier declined to follow southern states and open a stadium for the blockbuster game.

Up to 9000 people will be able to watch the game at Riverstage, with doors to the free event opening at 5pm.

Major Brisbane entertainment venues will stream the match while City Hall, the Story Bridge and for the first time, the Neville Bonner Bridge, will be dressed in beaming green and gold light.
