LATEST JUDICIARY

7.20pm – Carrigan continues. Carrigan says he had placed his arm on Walsh. “He swotted my arm away”. Carrigan then walked off.“I was angry and I didn’t think it was worth having an argument with him."

Things getting tense

Carrigan: I heard him say what the f**k do you mean c***. He said that to me.

Judiciary chairman now arguing with the defence counsel that Carrigan can’t say who Walsh was talking to.

Carrigan then interjects “He was looking straight at me. I don’t know how to say that any (clearer).”
So using that logic neither can Butler. Bush lawyers lol

This is impossible for the nrl to prove. The ref didn't even hear him say it so he can't give any evidence to suggest it was directed at him. There's two witnesses that give evidence that it was not directed at the referee. Reece and patty. Everything else is subjective opinion based on hearsay

Suppose one can only say they "believe" that it was directed at them, and that they cannot "know" to whom it was directed.

Why is the judiciary chairman arguing for the prosecution?

No wonder we lost this game:

Carrigan said he had vented his frustration with Walsh earlier in the game.
"Whether it be right or wrong, we have a close relationship. I felt like Reece was trying to overplay everything and got in front of Cobbo. I got frustrated and told him to slow his brain. I felt like his actions were inhibiting our ability to get a result and that is just the manner he plays in. That was a by-product of previous incidents."

Carrigan is such a romantic. "Whether it be right or wrong, we have a close relationship."

It's like Shakespeare

7.25pm – Knowles is now cross-examining Carrigan. “You heard Reece say, to 'I stopped, I stopped. Who was he saying that to”?

Carrigan answers: “You would have to ask Reece. I believe it was the referee”.
