Riki and Fleggs both gone for a significant period sucks - add in probably losing Walsh for up to a month - that means we're going to have to pull out wins without them against at least Dolphins and Dogs - else we're in a lot of trouble.

Don't see us beating Rabbitohs, Cowgirls suddenly decided they are a class team again, Raiders and Storm probably have our number. This is looking dicey - we are 2 wins clear of 9th and 3 wins clear of 12th.

Beating the Tits was almost a must win game for us to have a top 4 chance.

I've had that plantar fascia shit and it's not fun. It hurt a little during the game but I felt okay until the next morning where I felt agonising pain by the afternoon. Might be why he went from seemingly alright after the game, but potentially out for the season the next day.

For my injury, I was in bed for nearly a month, unable to walk and scoffing down heavy painkillers. But it did eventually get better without surgery.

He was limping pretty bad at one stage on Sunday.

I'm on the wrong side of 40 and suffer from plantar fasciitis - I think what Jordan and likely yourself went through was more the Plnatar Facia tearing rather than fascitis which is more irritation / swelling caused by mechanical stress or bone spurs etc.

A telltale sign of Faciitis is it hurts like a bitch until you've warmed it up a bit - once you've walked 30-40m it starts to come good. Hurts a lot post excercise, normally at night when it's cooled down it can be a real bitch. Next morning, agony for the first twenty steps then it starts easing up until during the day I hardly feel it.

Walsh 100% swore at the ref. It’s as obvious as daylight. I know our season is in the balance, but his fake apology made me lose a lot of respect.

You shouldn’t talk to the ref like that, but tbh it was cathartic to watch because I was thinking the same thing. Own up to it like a man though or at the least don’t say anything at all and save your lies for the judiciary
Have you also lost a lot of respect for our captain too?

Nah, the Titans loss was the "loss we needed to have".

- Dolphins, bye and Dogs: guaranteed 6 points.
- South: they suddenly suck again.
- Roosters: they are overrated and not a top 8 team.
- Coyboys: will be a tight game.
- Eels: danger game, but we owe them a smashing. After we win this by 50, the media will finally beleive we are a premiership threat.
- Bye: perfect timing. After this we would be guaranteed a top 4 finish.
- Raiders: we would have learnt our lesson and wont make the same mistakes as before. I will also be at this game, so will start a riot if it looks like we might lose.
- Storm: We finally beat them at Suncorp, to give the team (and the BHQ) faith that we are going all the way.

I love your optimism

I was 15 and holding back tears after we got munted by the Dragons in that 2006 qualifying final at Suncorp. Dad said "absolutely the loss we needed to have, perfect timing" on the way home.

Santa, are you my father?

There's no such thing as a "loss you need to have". If you can't learn lessons while winning, then why even bother?

Anyway, Walsh hearing delayed. Lawyers talking behind closed doors.

It's going to be very evident on the weekend against the Dolphins. If we get more bumbling plays, sloppy errors and our halves completely fail to fire again - we'll know the season is on wobbly legs.

Strange though, my old man said similar "good wake-up for them" - I sure as shit hope so - but after last year, this looks like they've clocked off early again.

NRL360 have played audio on what Walsh allegedly said.

Walsh: What the **** do you mean, ****? After the ref said obstruction.

Except they've changed the subtitles about 4 times since they started chucking up clips
