Pretty big turnover of low depth ranks this looks like a unit that has never played with each other.

I think we have seen the right things from the right players except Karapani and Mariner. They both look very very rusty. I reckon Mariner is probably the type who would be kicking stones for having to actually play this game.

Hopefully Mozer gets minutes with the 1st team in the trial games. Hard to judge his impact with reserve graders running off him. Has looked solid so far though

Out of the guys actually in contention for first grade I'd say it's only been Mariner that's looked out of place so far.

Willison looking like he's booking a spot in the 17

Hunt looking like exactly what you want from a bench player that would get limited minutes, bringing energy and actually looking ok out in second row

Te Kura been solid but needs time in Qcup (as expected)

Mozer looking solid and is more a guy that works with the players around him than standing out on his own... has kept the ruck moving when the guys get a roll on

My first 50 wrap would be: Sailor the stand out. Karapani looks very sharp too, better than Mariner. Mariner some silly mistakes. Karapani just got binned for a spear. Wilison and Te Kura look good and big but nothing superb from them that screams NRL. Te Kura looks like he might struggle defending in NRL. Mozer has done nothing in attack, but gives good service and can tackle.

Poor first involvement from Bukowski.

Just had a turnover and there wasnt much on... just go the basics and get the ball out

Actually never mind. The difference is already very noticeable with this 14 replacing him lol

Selwyn until the end of the all stars game last year was similarly shithouse to Mariner so hot the be all and end all. We all saw how good he was last year but you’d have to think he would have to do something very special from here on out to be in the side rd 1.
