2024 NRL Injury Discussion

For the second time in 24hrs...someone do a welfare check on @The Don

Sport on the Gold Coast is just fucking cursed, seriously. Is Robina built on an aboriginal burial ground?

It sure is. Arrow also in serious doubt. Walsh also likely to miss a jersey as a result of his injury. Munster also possibly underdone.

Probably something like:

1. Ponga
2. Holmes
3. Hammer
4. Cobbo
5. Coates
6. Munster
7. Cherry-Evans
8. Collins
9. Grant
10. Cotter
11. Nanai
12. Capewell
13. Carrigan

14. Hunt
15. Hosboriugh
16. Hopgood
17. Flegler

I'm tipping Walsh to keep the fullback spot, Ponga may get a bench position

Did not realise Mitch Moses had a foot fracture... thought he played the full game 🤔🤔

Just saw that he's 6-12 weeks... guess who parra play in 6 weeks time 🙄🙄🙄

You've got a full all star team happening out at the moment:

1. Walsh
2. Addo-Carr
3. Kris
4. Graham
5. Sivo
6. Munster
7. Reynolds
8. Tino
10. Haas
11. Fifita
12. Luki
13. Gilbert
14. FIsher-Harris
15. Rudolph
16. FInucane
17. Collins
18. Lemuely
19. Nikorima
20. Lodge
21. Marzhew
22. Niukore
23. Smith
24. Hess
25. Saab
26. Moses
27. Stone
28. Arrow
29. Hamlin-Uele
30. Nicoll-Klokstad

If the injuries keep stacking up like this. Could be the year you see someone finish 5-8 and win the thing.

Early days, but if a decent team can stay injury free they are going to rack up points if others are losing players in key positions. Then its just going to be ease of draw (looking at cowboys)

Fractured foot for Moses, that's the Eels screwed.

Is that forward pack not the epitome of state of origin though. That bench (chefs kiss). 2 psychopathic ginger nuts and a notorious work horse.

I think you have the core group Holmes and Cobbo could possibly switch and or Taulagi being in there somewhere. Ponga Walsh is a flip of the coin I’d say Walsh is ahead as he seems to be Billy’s love child. Fifita for Capewell without a doubt as well.

Yeah it all depends on injury recovery periods. You'd assume if Fifita is recovered, he'll come in for sure. But given Qld will have a few green horns this year out of necessity, I wonder if Capewell might find his way in somewhere, maybe on the bench as he covers a lot of positions in case of injury.

You could have a Non-Sydney v Sydney game with all the outs and it would be epic:

1. Walsh / Doueihi
2. Nicoll-Klokstad / Addo-Carr
3. Kris / Graham
4. Smith / Smith
5. Marzhew / Sivo
6. Munster / Moses
7. Reynolds / Cleary
8. Haas / JFH
9. Egan / Liddle
10. Tino / Collins
11. Fifita / Cartright
12. Luki / Su'A
13. Gilbert / Arrow

14. Walker / Rudolph
15. Stone / Molo
16. Niukore / Finucane
17. Hess / Hamlin-Uele

18. Nikorima / Keary
