It's PNG so they might be up 30-0 at half time but then win or lose by six.

I'm not sure that's so smart ... even if it is designed to get him some time in the QLD cup, that he probably wouldn't get otherwise.

Move may have always been on the cards... Definitely not the greatest game to be debuting in, but maybe they're just fast tracking it because Souths are running out of players aren't they?

Bears halves are pretty settled I think, especially with Rogers back there this year.

Souths seems to be where we are sending our first choice depth players as well.. he'll be playing with Mozer moving forward... would've been playing with Te Kura, etc.

Why is it not smart? Wynnum and Bears are set for halves and top four they don't want Black.

Souths have an injury with Kelly and their halves are all over the shop this year.

On form Souths are his only option to play Cup.

Great start, fifth tackle and Black bombs away. Hunters drop it and Black is there crumbing looks up and sees Leota out there with not much around him- kicks it again onto his chest and Leota scores in the corner.

Doesn't get too much better for a half in your first set in Cup. Great vision- easy option is get tackled and let them ruck it out or just roll it in for a repeat set. To look up and see a kick from middle of the field to the far right is good play.

Just like that the real Souths turn up- 4-4.

Black can't tackle the Hunters around the legs, they will offload evey time like that.

Mozer with the biggest non dummy ever and he pushes himself over- Hunters over chased and he just had to step off his left and push over.
