Have to say whenever I’ve watched the Bears they have never given off the vibe they have a crispy top level Halfback steering the ship. McConnell has outplayed him all year imo. Always has his nice moments but his fingerprint is not all over the side which is fine in some teams but when you are the bloke training with the broncos every week you have to make it your side. I can’t say Black has overly impressed me at any stage this mm season. Done some nice things for sure but this is supposed to be a level well beneath him and for mine he barely stands out.

Black has a try assist and should have two but overall the attack hasn't been very good. Milford is unstoppable but then they get into attacking range and he doesn't see the ball.

Well done to the Seagulls though, they did a lot of defending on their goal line.

They've gone away from everything that's worked, their left edge has been a weapon all season- Milfrod, McConnell and Coates have hardly combined.
