I want to see us keep a side to 0 this season. Last time we did it was the Storm on 8 September 2023, Week 1 of finals. Before that it was Rd 10 2022, when we flogged the Eagles (away!) 38-0.

Our defence was significantly improved last year, but we didn't get a something-to-zip win. I want us to keep a clean sheet at least once this year. I'll even take a gritty 6-0 scoreline over a 46-14 domination.

(For those wondering, the last time we failed to score a point our halfback was Tyson Gamble, our five eighth that Karmichael Hunt, and Adam Reynolds kicked 7 goals.)
Keeping a team to zero would be nice but I’d be happy to start with single digits. I read something the other day that said we where the first team in the nrl era that won the comp after conceding atleast 10 points in every single game of the season.

I think Walshy may have picked up a little injury during the pre season. The opposed seasons that they did during the training camp in Toowoomba were pretty brutal - there was lots of heavy contact; the boys weren't mucking around.

He actually posted a photo to his socials during the week of his chest heavily strapped and wearing what looked like a sternum guard.

It's obviously nothing serious if they've cleared him to travel to the UK.

I've been rewatching some 2108 games and boy did we have some 'enforcers' in that team. Lodge, TPJ, Mcguire, Thaiday, Sims and even Jimmy the jet. They were all hot heads that were constantly doing dumb shit every game. I'd rather not have enforcers thanks, especially these days when a hint of something high or late is 10 in the bin.
