I think the whistle went straight away and then they came in with the starting a fight.

When he comes in that aggressive then any contact high is going to look bad.
 
Clarke has been threatening to do that all night. Such a sharp runner of the football and with some space he was too hard to handle for the Blues.

Big turn around off that Blues error.

Is it a down year for NSW?

Usually they're miles ahead in the physicality side of things, but tonight it hasn't felt like that

Better second half from him as well. Geez that right edge for Queensland has been good.
 
Bishop Neal has looked good tonight, but will be interesting to see how it translate to NRL.

A little bit of Fifita about him, in that NSW can't stop him offloading if he wants it... has been aggressive in defence as well, which is not a Fifita trait at all.

He definitely has a bigger and faster than others in his age group... but does that keep happening through the age groups
 
Does Francis play much back row? He looks like he's roving everywhere. We've got ourselves someone to be VERY excited about there.
 
Klown Jr is in game management mode.

Old mate was holding on forever after the knock on... I think qlder was milking a bit, but it did look like NSW was holding the leg... if so that's near professional foul and in the bin.

On the 5th tackle before that NSW fell asleep in the ruck.

Now he's straight onto a shepherd penalty despite no one actually being obstructed

Reminded me of that Tedesco try against the Titans where he jinks one way and takes the space he wasn't entitled to.

Good luck keeping up with it.

I hope the Maroons don't shut up shop here. 14 points is nothing at this level.

He's giving me Tino vibes, which makes me think he's suited to the middle.

Good runner using big lanky footwork to get to where he wants in the hitup, keeps his feet moving and doing the 1%ers and clean up work in defence, workrate monster.

Plus he looks pretty good with ball in hand... using that footwork he gives himself a bit of time to find a pass if needed.
 
I've been impressed with the Blues backs. Constantly running hard and getting the Blues off to good starts. The forwards just haven't been able to respond in kind.

Neal with the mistake, this is what the Blues need.

Clarke comes steaming in with a shoulder charge. Silly stuff mate, could have easily gone wrong.
 
Klown Jr has got his try... will he ease up or double down and turn this into a true Vlandal ball game
