Since the start of the 2022-23 Sheffield Shield season, Neser has taken nine wickets in the opening over of the innings (including Maddinson today), while the next best in the competition is three.
 
Renners with a timely 125* opening. Wonder if any selectors will take any notice or if they’re too preoccupied with their wunderkinds.

My boy Ness with 6 for the match and 43 with the bat. So good to have him back
 
What a great win with every player contributing. Now Into 3rd place however every team still in with a chance to make the final.

Yes, because being the 5th highest scoring opener (6th if you include Ward) with an average of 36.66 screams pick me.
