Ghibli said:If Foxtel had a package of just NRL games I would buy it in a heartbeat, even a pay per view. Or just $10 a month for the foxsports channels.
The Rock said:It's funny how some people say Foxtel is expensive, yet they spend $6 a day on coffee at the office for 5 days a week. If they just had instant coffee, or at least cut down the amount of coffee's bought during the week, they would be available to afford the platinum Foxtel package with IQ2.
Or the people who have 1-2 takeway meals per week with their wife. If they cut it down to 1 take-away meal per week, they they would save about $80 which is more than enough for a good package in Foxtel.
Seriously, it's really not that expensive.
Big Pete said:Fox would be useless if you were only buying it for Fox and as a Broncos fan, 18 games are screened on FTA and the other 6 you can either get to the games, watch at the pub or just catch later on NRL.com for free.
I'm with you. It's not a matter of it being expensive, it's that it expensive for what I would get out of it. I can and do download pretty much any and all tv shows and movies I want, and the only thing I want foxtel for is the nrl. And for $50+ a month, that's not worth it to me.Bucking Beads said:If you got value for money it might be worth spending the $80 a month for foxtel. It is a lot to pay when all you really want is the sports channels.
