Unless an injury kills his speed Walsh should stay at fullback, Mam isn't a halfback at all at this stage of his career and it's absurd to think he could be one when Reyno retires.

We stay a high level these next few years we probably will have a waiting list for the position anyway, players want to go to good teams.

Hopefully reyno goes around for another year or two when his contract expires. He's actually not that old for a HB. Plus the injuries he's had at the bronx are covid and the rib injury. I reckon he's got a few more left in him at least. Bronx need a succession plan though. Could be mam. Most halves start their career in a running 5/8 type role

See how he goes. Credit goes to him for wanting to be reynos understudy. I just think he's not that talented but we have seen what blokes who work hard can accomplish. Cooper cronk was one of them

Reynolds game has changed to sacrifice consistency for creativity. He is far from the predictable, reliable cog he was at south’s and is now playing unshackled which sees him attempt much bigger plays with mixed results.

We would probably be better served by the more conservative version of Reynolds that played it safe and allowed the flashy guys to shine but it wouldn’t be as entertaining to watch.

At Souths he had Cody and Latrell to do the creating .
He would pass deeper into the line and give those guys time and space .
Ezra doesn`t have the threat of run or pass to 3 different options like Walker so Reynolds attacks more himself .

And actually lately Ezra has been pretty ordinary in regular attacking shapes . Kicking game non existent lately .
If he wasn`t scoring tries by backing up I think other options may have been explored .
I have seen highlights of Ezra throwing some very sweet passes in back line plays in lower grades .So I know he can do it . Haven`t really seen it this season .

I've seen teams pressing up on Ezra more quickly. They've found a weakness in his game of playing near the line he either throws a sloppy pass or runs himself (or drops it cold). He's not dealing with this well. When the defence sit back - he generally looks a lot more dangerous.

When Walshy is behind him you see the defense back right off as they are scared of Walsh's speed - that's when Mam generally does a bit better.

I don't mind the idea of Sailor being the long term replacement for Reynolds. He certainly seems to have a good long kicking game.

If it was to be the case I think he should be playing Halves now in QCup, because it's not happening I don't think he is in the plans for it.

At this stage I think it's still likely we sign a player to be 7, after Reynolds.

A player I have noticed watching Super league a bit this season is Lachlan Lam, he was good in the pacific test last year but he has a very exciting style of play, with another year In the ESL I think he might be a good option.

We can't exactly be because it's in our best interest to keep Reyno as long as possible, if he gets signed so be it, whenever asked about coming back to Australia though he seems to want another season in England, his dad is the coach as well.

The last month he's not been great and even on the weekend I think some of the great chip kicks he did is overshadowing the other poor kicks he had that game.
