He's starting to come across as a pathological liar to me.

So many contradicting quotes over the last few weeks, especially in relation to his phone call with Politis and why exactly he was at the barbershop.
 
I don’t care what he has to say. Broncos need a personnel overhaul, starting with the removal of TPJ is at the top of the list.

I'm more in the camp of keeping him on board. He's still growing and learning lessons on life. If he is genuine then this is when all the shit we've put up with pays off.

However, if he is fair dinkum he'd have no qualms at signing a new contract - one that stipulates if he stuffs up one more time it's an automatic termination of his contract. If he is being honest then that stipulation would not faze him.

Otherwise he's just filling us all with platitudes that sounds like he has changed in order to keep hold of the filthy lucre on offer.
 
TPJ isn't leaving. Given the time that has lapsed with nothing happening, the broncos have probably had legal advice to say they can't terminate it contract without payout and they are idiots.

TPJ will stay a bronco. He is good value for his contract. New coaching and management should be the focus for the broncos.
 
He has realized he has jeopardized 650k a year and is saying exactly what he needs to say to keep it.
Offload the merkin, i was a huge fan, but his stinking attitude is not what this club needs.

the Warriors are still very keen on him. he'll get a good contract elsewhere ... it just won't be a club like the Roosters
 
If he has pulled his head in then I am definitely in favour of keeping him, but I just don’t believe that he has. I think he has been shocked at how little interest there is in him so he is sorry and wants to stay to secure his big packet. My concern is he just secured his money until he gets a big offer and then will pull the same shit again to try and get out of his contract.

Like I say if he is genuine then great but the cynical part of me thinks he did this because after his chat with Uncle Nick he thought there was a Roosters contract waiting for him and now he is shocked and wants to secure his money.

although, to get that big offer from a rival that he actually wants to go to. he'll need to do several; things that will massively benefit us:

1. behave himself off the field
2. play good footy on the field
3. avoid his frequent trips to the judiciary

I also think it could take a good amount of time before those top teams that he wants to go to (like the Rorters) take him seriously

I just don’t get it. Out of all the people he could interview with, he chats to Hooper. Like seriously? Get interviewed by Von or Jess maybe, instead (we get allocated I assume) Hooper.

Which means the stories were all true because if they weren’t he’d be mad...right...

What a season!
