I'm more in the camp of keeping him on board. He's still growing and learning lessons on life. If he is genuine then this is when all the shit we've put up with pays off.

However, if he is fair dinkum he'd have no qualms at signing a new contract - one that stipulates if he stuffs up one more time it's an automatic termination of his contract. If he is being honest then that stipulation would not faze him.

I think he has been shocked at how little interest there is in him so he is sorry and wants to stay to secure his big packet. My concern is he just secured his money until he gets a big offer and then will pull the same shit again to try and get out of his contract.

although, to get that big offer from a rival that he actually wants to go to. he'll need to do several; things that will massively benefit us:

1. behave himself off the field
2. play good footy on the field
3. avoid his frequent trips to the judiciary

I also think it could take a good amount of time before those top teams that he wants to go to (like the Rorters) take him seriously
