I know you're only the messenger but I just cant see how that's possible in the salary cap world.Dobbo reporting a 3 hour Zoom meeting has just finished between TPJ and the board. Most likely outcome is a revised 1 year contract to stay in Brisbane at a much reduced rate than his current contract value.
Lockyer left the meeting refusing to comment, other than to say "the process is ongoing".
He either gets sacked and finds a new contract or he stays on under his current contract.
What he's suggesting is effectively being sacked from his contract, but then instantly re-signed by the same club under a revised lower salary contract.
Rorters will have a field day under those conditions
